Alright, this post is about ending a Trish combo with a Round Harvest that lets you raw tag to Dante to do his string of special moves for a while. It’s a pretty awesome way to combo for just one meter, and Dante can end his string of wall bounce/ground bounce specials with a super for more damage too. Sadly, I’m not very good with Dante combos so I’m not sure on the optimal way to end it yet, so I need your help!
Here’s an example combo with Doom’s Hidden Missiles:

If there’s more he can do great, but I don’t know enough about him.
Once Dante starts his portion of the combo, it’s already around 610k damage. I’m guessing with his additions, it’s up around 750-800k after, and then if he supers, maybe up around 950 or so? The best part is Trish’s lead-in builds the meter to throw the Round Harvest, and I’m hoping Dante’s contribution will build enough meter for him to super as well.
I tried it with other assists (Sent Drones, Akuma Tatsu, Tron Fire, Phoenix Trap) and it worked nicely as well, although I did have to shorten the combo slightly.
For the quick assists like Tatsu and Tron Fire, I shortened it to:

I thought the one with Phoenix was particularly funny because you wind up building more meter than you spend to do probably 800k+ damage. If you were sitting on 5 bars, you could use this combo and be back to almost 5 by the end of it I think.
So if there are any of you Trish+Dante players out there, give this a whirl and let me know how it goes. I think it’d be great if Trish had a 1 meter combo for 800k+ damage just using an assist and a raw tag to Dante’s ender.
The one with doom works well. Meter positive combo for like 950k
Couldn’t get the others to work though. Is it corner specific or something?
Also the best Dante ender in the corner after a KD is Cold Shower>Stinger>BC Million Carats>Stinger> BC Volcano>Beehive>Stinger>BC Jetstream>Fireworks>Super
I’ve only tested the other ones heavily in the corner, which makes them too specific for the most part (though Trish with Drones or Akuma can push people to the corner). The one with Doom works anywhere and is very doable. After an hour or so practicing it, I feel really comfortable with it. My biggest issue is the Dante portion of the combo, since I’ve only just started playing Dante today.
I do think it’s funny that after doing the full combo and ending with Dante’s Super, you can DHC back to Round Harvest, then raw tag back to Dante a second time, teleport, Sky Dancer into another Million Dollars. The full combo does like 1,250,000 assuming you have 2 meters when you start the combo with Trish.
I would be so annoyed if I had to sit through this 30 second combo.
I managed to get drones to work midscreen. Might start messing around with Sent just for this lol.
It’s such a silly combo. Also, an easier way to set it up is DHC’ing off anyone into Round Harvest, then raw tag to Dante. Of course that costs 2 bars, but you’ll get a bar back from Dante’s combo .
He’s like a 150k damage OTG that builds 1 bar…
You can use Storm’s THC Hail Storm to combo after an air-throw as Trish.
Air Throw -> THC with Hail Storm and Trish. Does about 500k. If you’re using an assist that gives you Round Harvest as your THC, you can follow it up with a limited air combo into Max Voltage, brings it up over 700k.
Alright, another goofy Round Harvest -> Dante combo. This time, it uses Akuma Tatsu assist. **Full combo can be done from the very first hit of the match with Trish and does 1,106,000. ** That’s enough to kill Wesker with the first hit of the game, no XFactor or DHC glitch.

You’re left with half a bar at the end of it if you start with just 1 bar. So it’s net -0.5 bars for the full thing. If you happen to start with 1.5 bars, the combo can be extended into another Million Dollars, which pushes it up over 1,200,000. More damage is possible with Dante in the corner rather than the basic combo I do with him. The timing’s on it are a bit tricky, namely when you call the tatsu assist so that it carries them up, and then when you cancel into Round Harvest. I think it’s pretty practical against most of the cast though.
There’s a version that doesn’t include the Hopscotch relaunch in the beginning for the pixie type characters. It builds less meter so you can’t chain together 3 supers, but then again you don’t have to because they all have less life.

Yeah, kinda sad there. I think very little of her gameplay revolves around combos though. Once you’ve got her basic combo down that does a 600k+ for one bar which DHCs to others and her DHC glitch starter down, you’re 90% of the way there for most teams.
There’s a little bit of extra space for some crazier combos with assist extensions into Round Trip and that kinda junk, or maybe reset setups, but it’s all team/situation specific.
Trish isnt a combo queen, the real meat and potatoes of her game is space control and setting up opportunities for the other characters as an assist.
mainly cause Trish can only do but so much as it is for combos. with or without assist.
last bit of combo technology I found with Trish seems good (and flashy) but the damage is still about the same (maybe a little more) overall. IIRC I was looking at about 740k in the corner and around 700k midscreen.

both work in the corner or midscreen. I’ve done this mainly with Dante Crystal assist but it works with all OTGs granted it’s fast enough. For the second combo, outside the corner, you may have to do a quick dash after round trip on some characters in order for the launcher to connect.

I feel so retarded since everyone does this combo so easily but I just recently picked up Trish and I can never get the relaunch for this combo to work, they flip out after the st.H and block the relaunch- any advice?
Weird that they flip out. Maybe you need to hit the launcher faster?
On another note, up TAC with Dante is pretty cheap, turning a 600k combo to 1M and ending with a positive meter gain.

This is just a minor thing but helps for combo consistency when you’re not in the corner.
If you’re using an assist like Wesker to OTG into Round Harvest (and then do some air stuff into Max Voltage), it helps to time the hits of your combo so that your final :s: launcher happens as low to the ground as possible. The reason is because this lets you do a superjump forward off the :s: and then do a double jump forward off the first j. without going behind them. The result is that you land right next to them after the final j.:s: which grounds them, instead of punting them to the other side of the screen.
Another option seems to be to slightly delay the air after double jumping off the first one, which changes her trajectory and brings her down to the ground faster.
This is also helpful if you’re doing the Trish/Dante/Doom combo I described above.

These combos are fun - relaunches for days. If nothing else, I hope it gets people playing around with Trish’s combos some more. I think other OTG assists could enable a lot of this as well, and plenty of other non-OTG assists allow you to combo into Round Trip without any problem.
In today’s session of incredibly obscure Trish combos, we use assists to combo into Round Trip and then do uncounterable aerial exchanges. This is good if you use a Phoenix team. Luckily Phoenix’s trap assist makes this pretty doable.

Then do whatever sick combo you like to do off an Aerial Exchange. I recommend Sentinel, Modok, Doom or whoever for shits and gigs.
The timing can be tight to get the uncounterable exchange, but I started getting it after a few minutes of playing around with it. I’m sure there’s ways to make it more consistent.
Pretty sure it also works with Doom (Missiles), Akuma Tatsu, Sentinel Drones, etc. If you use Round Harvest instead, a large number of OTG assists let you easily combo into it.
