Sometimes I jump in the lab and can’t don’t shit with Mag or Jill, so I load up this transformers hiphop beat and jump on dat Sentinel, greatest magic series of all time. Real talk, when I quickscope niggas with dat J.M I feel like…8-), and don’t let me hit yo girl when I have 5bars… give that bitch some of dat Western Digital:rofl:. I really miss the old Sentinel:( fuck you crybaby ass vanilla MvC3 niggas!
okay guys since the dudes in the x23 thread wanna be fuckin quiet n shit i’ll just ask this here:
how do you all feel about magneto(beam) x23(ankle slice) sentinel(drones)? reasons i picked this team up;
- mags can get in on his own plus he builds enough meter solo, as well as being able to increase meter gain using the otg assist and drones.
- X23 is a really good character when she’s backed with emd and drones for mix ups. that and she’s sexy as fuck
- My Sentinel is the shit. Seriously though, opinions are very much appreciated guys!
Ankle slice hits low right? So that sets up unblockables? Team seems do-able. Make sure X-23 is as strong as your Mags. Shes a great character with drones and disruptor…or even hype grav. Her loops is secsy as fuck too.

I wish people would stop saying he’s…alright Tony’s kind of butt in this game (at the moment), but i’m just announcing this team because of a recommendation a friend made. What happened was that a good friend of mine challenged me to a FT20 with his felicia team versus my x23 team and i beat him 20-15, but what’s so special is that we had to play the characters on point the entire time. You know, figures em out during this time. So after that i went and did soem research on her and turns out she’s a mix up queen of sorts lol
I actually have a team using both laura and tony so be on the lookout for when i upload the new shit soon
Fun fact: You can convert off any air throw at any height or any ground throw by simply doing a boxdash L blast into dash crM or crH. You need to have to not used your airdash though. If you are low to the ground just land, then do a ground dash into crH and you’ll reach in the proper time.
Tony’s probably one of the most fun characters in the game to play. Unless you’re taking a match seriously. Then you just wanna throw your controller at the TV.
Which is why I sold out and joined the fraud army aka picked up Vergil.

I just did your combo in training mode, there’s nothing wrong with it, you just need to practice more. Also, the HSD doesn’t kick in, so you can add some HGrav when you reach the corner.

I drop it after the second magnetic blast L. They don’t fall into the ground S due to HSD, and they’re just a bit too high. I’m guessing this is a timing problem?
seriously, I’m in training mode as I type this mgs. to get the character closer to the ground you need to delay the second j.H, ADDF, j.H
J.H, slightly delay, ADDF, j.H <-- like that

Have another question lol. What’s a few of Magneto’s easier hit confirms? Like what tools I should be using in the neutral game which I can convert into a combo?
Some ones that I use :
(At super jump height) j.H, j.S, ADDF, j.S, land st.L, (delay) st.M, cr.H, S into a ROM corner carry where I then go into HyperGrav loop.
(At super jump height) j.H, j.S, ADF, j.S xx M Magnetic Blast land S sjuf j.H ADF j.H xx L Magnetic blast into fly loop
(At normal jump height) j.H, j.S, ADDF j.H, cr.L, cr.H, cr.S into a ROM corner carry where I then go into HyperGrav loop.
(At normal jump height) j.L , j.S, ADDF j.L, st.L , (delay) st.M, cr.H, S into a ROM corner carry where I then go into HyperGrav loop.
(At normal jump height) If a stray ADDF/ADDB j.H/j.S hits as you are coming down you can often follow up into st.L, st.L S into whatever you want.
These are all midscreen but in corner I often choose to go straight into a ROM in lieu of the fly loops or Magnetic Blast stuff. I hope this helps, and I hope others wade in with more conversions that I can steal and not give credit for.
