If anyone can get anything cool out of Lei-Lei’s ability to link air :rdp::l: into :s: while under Level 3 X-factor, that’d be awesome. Maybe some corner jump cancel combos?
Fair enough. Lack of sleep and no modok’s in top 16 put me on the edge.
You can’t link anything after the Gong in the air, otherwise they just fall out of the combo On rare occasions I’m able to link j.m -> S -> finisher. But it’s a bit more consistent to just link the S. Flashy stuff though.

Is it possible to follow up a back throw with :f:, them go into a jump cancel an etc.? Haven’t gotten much time to test lately, and I was trying to work with it the other day but my friend got impatient and wanted to play too. And there’s no arguing with that of course.

but is everyone doing j.h after 3h jump cancel??? because i have always been using j.m, j.s
i know j.h allows you to fall faster to the ground then the opponent so you can possibly add another jump itteration
but aside from carrying them closer to the corner it doesn’t add anymore damage for me
3H causes a soft knockdown which allows Hsien-Ko to essentially do whatever she wants afterwards within the rules of hitstun deterioration. The reason we use j.H instead of j.M is because the timing on j.M->j.S is a lot more strict than j.H->j.S. It’s the exact same reason I completely omit j.S in my jump loops and use only j.H in conjunction with an air dash. Since you can’t really get any more technical than a little damage difference (Two reps at most), you’re free to do whatever you want in between. If that’s j.M->j.S, then by all means, go ahead.
Feel like we need more X-factor specific combos, she moves too fast that her f+H jump cancel bnbs drop pretty early. I’ll put in some midscreen ones.
midscreen transition combo(any level): Any ground series into cr.H, M gong, xfc, f+M, j.MH(3hits)S, land, st.M, L gong, st. M, cr.HS, j.MMHS - does around 645k(lv1).
raw x-factor combo or guard cancel combo(any level): Any ground series into cr.H, f+H, j.HS, land, st.M, L gong, st.M, cr.H, j.MMHS- does around 640k(lv1).
I’ve only tested these on v.joe, nemesis and ryu so far, so I can hope that these are the go-to combos that work on all body types.
That has my vote. I’ve liked a lot of the names suggested, but this one is my favorite by far :). Mostly, I just want the new thread to be made, so I’ll settle for anything!
