Ok if it’s one the MvC3 official website go with that, maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.
Although there’s only 2 hypers in the official website and Spiderman does have one HCB special.
UWT is definitely HCB. Command throws, especially command throw hypers are almost always Half Circle Motions.

I saw a vid where Wesker did his S.E. and didn’t follow it up. His opponent teched in the air. Now I know jack about how teching works in this game and it’s possible the opponent could have just let himself fall to the ground without teching. This should work against those who don’t know or mash tech.

After watching a bit of the LA FC , I can tell spidey is gonna peeve alot of people of, his play style fits his character perfectly…annoying and agile .
Slow characters like Sentinel are gonna have a hard time keeping him down.
Does anyone know if you can do Crawler Assault (wait for wallbounce)>XFC>Ultimate Web Throw? Will the opponent still be airborne during the startup of UWT? Does UWT even work in a combo.
Im pretty sure UWT cannot be comboed into. Of course for all we know it might, ippatsumans air throw was both unblockable and comboable so only time will tell.
When the game is released, what assists will you all be looking into to help Spidey’s rushdown? Judging by the early videos, the obvious choice is Chun Li’s lightning legs. Hsien Ko’s assist where she swings around the stage looks pretty good too.
Also, what kinds / types of assists help rushdown, in general? I never got into MvC2 because I was always more of a CvS2 person. I think I have a rough idea of which types are good, but I’m not too certain.
im rocking wesker’s low shot samurai edge to both give access to OTGs for spidey to increase combo potential, and for crazy high/low mixups / unblockable scenario. if they jump out of it, UWT. I’m also using amaterasu’s cold star to keep them immobilized, deal chip damage, and allow spidey to rule the skies freely.
