You’re going to buy it, love it, and then lie to him for the Pho. I know you.
This. Toilet time is thinking time; it’s sacred, and the closest thing to prayer I partake in.
Looking forward to the guide; $10 was too cheap to pass up.
Reading on the toilet <3
Fuck it, it’s $11.55 on Amazon. I’ll spend that much on lunch one day so I guess it’s worth that much.
Just placed my order on Amazon - thanks for the heads up Buk!
So why exactly is it so cheap on Amazon? Every other store I’ve checked has it for around 20 bucks.
I usualy play Wario Ware on the toilet, but a good guide is just as appropriate.
I’ve had it pre-ordered on Amazon for a long time. I wasn’t going to get it but when i heard it was 350 pages, had frame data and was only $11.55, i said why the hell not and pre-ordered it.
buk can you tell us about the frame data? You seem to be avoiding the subject although maybe you just missed the questions…So is it solid?
Also does the guide explain damage scaling? Nobody seems to get it yet.
It has everything you expect frame data to have and explains everything from damage scaling forumlas to KFC attributes per character.

obviously i can’t just go in here and spout all the details. Yes, frame data is good. It is very detailed, and has tons of annotations about special properties and effect durations and things like that. since frame data is a resource that never gets stale over time (besides possible balance patches), a ton of effort went into making sure our numbers are as correct and complete as possible.
the guide also has the exact formula for damage scaling! it was manually figured out by the authors (and one guy who unknowingly did the math and derived the formula).
…who’s chun li’s thighs?
Wow, pretty cool Buktooth. Definetly buying this
EDIT: Now thinking about it, I am going to have a shit load of stuff to check out the game buy the game. The PS3 stickers, the game, the artbook, the guide, the metal case.
MVC3 <3
400 page guide + Marvel vs. Crackcom 3 = “Well I didn’t really need any other hobbies for the next two months anyway”
Pretty cheap on amazon. Sure, why not.
Is there a way to add this on to my already pre-ordered MvC3 purchase on Amazon? $11ish dollars is pretty cheap but double shipping </3
Pre-ordered this just for the frame data reference. Any other useful information in the guide is a bonus =D.
Doesn’t look like it. Amazon supposedly allows users to combine orders after they have been placed separately but there are exceptions. One of them is that you can’t combine an order for an item not yet released. -_-
I usually don’t buy guides for my games. For MvC3, I change that and go ahead and reserve the guide. Looking at the size of it, I’ll have alot to read. Really tempting since I want to see what the other characters are capable of.
Well there goes my college reading.
