Meter charge move was in Darkstalkers 3 and the command dash is a completely new move in her arsenal. I agree that the meter charge should charge faster the more you use it, which leads to the question, which assist would help Felicia’s meter charge?

Let’s see how well the team chemistry is with these assists. I’ll try out MODOK and Wesker’s assists first. Just gotta wait till the Bay Area tournament coming up and I will get some footage
Doom rocks, Dorammau piller. will be great for her to get in. Full screen projectiles of any kind will give her some good protection. If X-23 is on your team with low assist you can use Cat spike if its overhead to do a unblockable
I think for approach she more needs duration. Dark hole, lightning legs, or cold star with cat runseems like a good approach. Really tricky cross-up potential too
meter charge is just a way to give your opponent incentive to come stop you. In other words, enter Felicia’s range. I don’t think you want to call an assist out and just chill out and charge that’s sort of counter productive.
It’s too bad team hypers don’t work like in tvc. Kitty Helper+team hyper>charge during teammates’ hyper.

Would it be possible to use Delta Kick to do some kind of triangle jump? Or is it not fast enough, not combo-able, leaves you open, and/or too difficult to execute fast enough? Hell, is it even an overhead at least?
don’t know if it’s overhead, but you can do it in the air, and the air version only goes up a tiny bit. The motion (rdp) is really awkward to try to use in place of a trijump, altho’ the way you come in is about right.
I don’t think I’ve seen any videos with the air Delta Kick in a combo. It better have OTG properties like the Cat Spike. >:3

so if you’re fast, and practice it, air delta kick could take the place of a trijump (since she doesn’t go up further very much at all for the air one).
Also; my big theory fighting for felicia:
I think the big key for being effective with her is the three way mixup.
Basically once you’re in, you do one of the following:
:snka::snkb::dp::snka: (Should be overhead and in front of the enemy)
:snka::snkb::dp::snkb: (Should be overhead and BEHIND the enemy)
:snka::snkb::qcf::snka::snka: (Low and in front of the enemy)
:snka::snkb:pause:qcb::p: (throw reset)
:snka::snkb: pause:d::d::e: (cat run reset)
In the examples I stop the blockstring at :snkb: because it seems like people usually try to pushblock you at the fierce attack part o the chain. You could certainly cancel out of her :snkc: into the specials and the concept would be sound.
Mix this with an assist that covers a large part of the screen visually (Dante Crystal, Ammy Cold Star, Dormammu Dark Hole), and you force them into an invisible 3-4 way guess… altho note that you can’t do the throw variation if they’re in blockstun from the assist.
From clips I’ve seen (and have in the First post) you can combo out of ALL of those options with neutral :snka:.
Oh: If they do push you, do an :snka: delta kick to close again, it should work.

I dunno if they changed it from the build I played @ nycc, but dp+a was not an overhead (quick grounded ball slash). Dp+b I don’t believe is one either, but it can cross up small crouhers (small hop like xladys), qcf+a,a was rolling bluckler, neko punch and that’s not low.
As far as delta kick after a pushblock I would not do it unless they have no beams or instants. I am not factoring in assist cover for felicia though. I would try dp+c if I think a superjump/ jump is coming after the pushblock.
Felicia seems to have a lot of options. IIRC, she can combo after landing her air throw and ground throw. She has a low assist and overhead assist too so she could also be strong in certain teams as well. Off screen run sounds like it could be nasty if the right assist comes out. I’m liking how Felcia turned out, I wouldn’t mind making a team around her.
Somebody at some point said the cat spikes were overheads, I don’t remember who now tho’, maybe its just the :snkc:

The question then is ‘does delta kick overhead?’ because then you could still have front/overhead, front/low, back, and throw as options in the mixup.
