I recently started using Spencer with Felicia. I was looking for a way to use his wire grapple efficiently. Thanks for the vid.
Felicia and Magneto has decent team synergy. Maggy’s Disruptor is a great tool for helping Felicia get in. Felicia’s Rolling Buckler Slide is a nice assist for Magneto, but I think that her OTG would work better for him for extended combos.
Something I want to find a use for: forward dash Sand Splash. You can briefly “store” a back charge move in this game by holding back, briefly going to neutral and dashing forward with the buttons, and then pressing forward+atk to use the charge move after the dash. I used it in quick succession every once in a while in vanilla to get in on the opponent back when she didn’t have ADK but haven’t really messed with the move much at all outside of combos in Ultimate. Sand Splash has so much durability (15 points total) that I figure approaching with it would have to be at least marginally useful against some zoners.
I know this is random and probably has already been noticed, but I just noticed it tonight.
If you manage to get all three hits of Air Delta Kick in, it will ground bounce even a grounded opponent - mainly because the first hit knocks them up in the air. This could present a decent reason to learn how to Tiger Knee the Air Delta Kick instead of the normal version in certain situations. Other situations I found it could work without the need for a Tiger Knee was cancelling into ADK after connecting j.C, j.S or during a lock-down assist.
I’ve noticed this too, though I can mainly only getting off on big characters like Sent and Hulk. There are most likely others you can do it on, but they have to have a minimum height requirement.
Well, I definitely can’t do it on Rocket Raccoon, but I haven’t tried Arthur or Joe yet. Smallest character I can remember being able to do it against is Wolverine.
It’s a pretty decent tactic, though - you can use up the ground bounce early, then go through with a standard ADK combo, except instead follow the ADK with a Hellcat reset when they tech out of the combo. At least currently, few people will anticipate teching out of the combo early, so they’ll be unprepared for the reset.
Neat stuff to note. While I haven’t tested this. Perhaps you can theoretically do some jump loops on big characters before finishing with the TK ADK and follow through with this or just combo into Dancing Flash. That said, it might not be as worth as some other combos, but still a neat tool of hers.
I have two questions is delta kick the proper way to get hit confirms ? also how well does the felicia work with rocket raccon? (log trap) my apologies for the scrub questions
Hit confirms should either end with rolling buckler slide or medium cat spike. If you are getting push blocked out then delta kick will keep you on them. I’m no expert either but ending it with teleport instant assist is another good option.
Log trap works pretty well with Felicia. You can use it to extend combos and get around 800k to 900k. You have an hour to hit confirm with it into a nice combo, too. She can also DHC into any of RR’s supers, but you have to do it before the uppercut. DHC from RR to Felicia level 1 or 3 is also possible.
It has something to do with Delta Kick and Gravitation. It looks like you need to hit her with Gravitation and bring her to the ground before she starts falling naturally with the move. Clip starts at about 0:40.
What characters can DHC from dancing flash reliably?
Looking for a new second after dropping Dante for the 20th time and I want someone that can DHC after the last 3 hits of Dancing Flash. ( I know about the up kick causing soft knockdown)
Im looking at Haggar now but Im not sure how well he does on 2nd position. And Hulk or Nova afterwards since they all seem to work.
If you’re considering Haggar, he’s probably be better as a point character into Felicia, rather than second. His damage output on point with two good assists backing him is astounding.
If you’re set on Felicia being point and want to get the last three hits of Dancing Flash, potential options include as you said, Nova (PotNF) and Hulk (Gamma Crush), though like Nova, Super Skrull’s inferno could be particularly useful. Taskmaster is also a useful character in this regard though I don’t know if he can dhc reliably off the last hits of dancing flash.
Does anybody have any good fuzzy guard stuff with Felicia? She doesn’t seem to have anything great in the way of instant overheads, which sucks considering that it would make her jump-cancelable low really abusable if that was the case.
Does anyone have a reliable happy birthday combo in or out of x factor? I play Felicia anchor and this seems to be the biggest hole in my game. Anytime I have two characters in a combo they always flip out during the Air Delta Kick. Any help is appreciated.
