MvC3: Felicia thread V2: For All your Broadway Catgirl Nun needs!

Loving the synergy Felicia has with Hawkeye and Rocket Raccoon. What new character doesn’t benefit from her? None of them.

After going through all of my notes, this tutorial is gonna take a bit of time… BUT, I have a solution! Instead of one big ass video, I shall split the tutorial into parts (Basics, Advanced stuff, Special Move properties, match-ups, etc.) First thing I am going to cover are the basics, which are combos, throw combos, counter-hit set-ups. combos against tall and small characters. Would that be better instead? Proper feedback this time lol.

I think the logical progression would be to cover set-ups and approaches (the first hit) before combos (the following hits). I prefer single big-ass videos, but that’s me.

In any case, you should cover what you’re planning to demonstrate before recording it just so we can offer improvements here and there if we see any. Not that I expect I’d be able to come up with better optimized combos myself, but that’s something I could see other people helping with.

Speaking of which, here’s a teaser for said tutorial lol. I am surprised nobody thought of this yet lol.

Dammit, Crispy.

I like it, I’ve actually gotten 2 ragequits from using the Cat Spike Loop

The music… o_O
I’d suggest trimming the video so there’s less black bars or rendering in the same aspect ratio :3

Make sure to include the importance of adding Cat Spike L/M, s.L-M/b+H before canceling into H Rolling Buckler for that extra damage boost in ground combos!

Couldn’t be more suitable.

I’ll fix the formatting problem when the first part of the tutorial is finished, thanks for noticing that, Sugami. :3

I am sorry but I was just walking by around this thread and just watching this short video make me realize that I don’t know what I am waiting for to main this kitty (this… and also a ADK +frames on block with ground bounce 8-))

So… yeah new kid around here saying hi.

Soo new to Felicia here, which power of her command grab should I be using?

LP, it has the most range.

Use the H version if you’re at point blank and need a 1-framer. Like if you’re pressuring the opponent with normals and they try to XF cancel to punish, chain straight into the H grab during their XF start-up to stuff it.

Otherwise, use the L version.

I rarely use the H version, the range is too iffy for me.

H version is 1f with short range. Very good when you’re at disadvantage (ie:-2 after Neko Punch, if they don’t push block or try to jump out, they’re getting scooped) and close

L version has the most range.

I typically never use M, but that’s due to not exploring options where it can be used more than anything else.

There’s only so much nyancat you can take before you go crazy

Aight, thanks for the input on the throw guys

In Vanilla, I used the M version while I was point blank at a Dark Phoenix Resurrection. Block, X-Factor Cancel, and then I’d use M version. If I used H, it would be active during her invincibility frames. If I used L, it would give Dark time to jump out of it. But then I tried the M version, and it was just right.

What does ADK mean?
Edit: Aerial Delta Kick? (just came to me)
