Well, like I said, I think the final designs for every Darkstalker was superior to their initial designs. Still, I think some of the initial designs could be implemented in some way (alternate costumes, minor characters) but they’d need a lot of clean up to be full-on characters.
Well, Capcom gave Ryu a SF1 alt, we have a chance for Felicia getting a scrapped design one.
For alternate costumes, I’d like the nun costume or one of her outfits from Cross Edge. :3
Anyways, I started using my old MvC2 team (Felicia/IronMan/Tron) and I can say that I LOVE THIS TEAM AGAIN. Iron Man with the triangle jumps and Tron with her ridiculous 20 second combos are just amazing. I have my old school team back as an official secondary team! Just like old times <3

Funny, I just started messing around with Tron/Felicia/Iron Man yesterday. I really wanted to implement her somewhere into my IM/Tron/Doom team.
Unibeam assist works great w/ whiffed cross up Delta Kicks and dp+H. I like Tron on point on this team. It allows for nasty unblockables and unblockable resets with Felicias Rolling buckler. And the whole thing with rolling buckler hitting twice actually works too well with setting up IAD stuff with both Tron and IM.
Edit: To further elaborate, if you find yourself able to connect Trons :f:+:m: (block or hit), By pressing :a1:/:a2: at the same time as the flame, Tron can jump cancel the flame and the opponent will be stuck in block/hit stun long enough for the first rolling buckler hit to connect and Tron to do j.:h: as the second hit connects. There
s alot of nice things about this setup.

If the opponent does not push block the flame, they subject themselves to a crossup (only if the flame isn’t done really close to the opponent, otherwise they’ll auto block the assist crossup) followed by a high/low block. So even if you don’t time this perfectly, odds are it will hit.

If your opponent does pushblock. Felicia still arrives at the point you initially called her so she will still trap the opponent in blockstun. Tron can still jump cancel the flame air dash and reach the opponent with j.:h: at the same time as the second hit of buckler.

if the flame hits or you did a ground combo leading into flame. You can reset the combo counter using this. If you notice, the two hits in the rolling buckler assist do not combo. so by doing someting like cr.:l:, :f:+:m:+:a1:, jump cancel, air dash j.+:h: the hit counter will reset at the point the 2nd hit of buckler and j.:h: connect, provided you hit j.:h: at the same time or after the low hit of the assist.
The opponent can jump out of this before rolling buckler starts if flame is blocked at a bit of distance.

Nope. I am having very little success with her. I have a long way to go until I use her as point.
I couldn’t connect anything after Roll->Slide on Ammy. If you are having trouble with the slide, end the first part of your combo with cat spike(L or M), and link L xx Launcher.
Stupid Ammy’s small hitbox prevents you from comboing after Rolling Buckler Slide. You’re better off using Dancing Flash or Please Help Me for follow up after Slide. After all, she has weak health :3

I can land the L after Rolling Buckler Slider the majority of the time, the main problem is landing the j.MMHS after the LM > Toy Touch. I’ve practised and practised and can only get it like 10% of the time Think I’ll have to resort to using easier combos, gonna give those Apprentice ones Trag made a shot.
Random tidbit, in Japanese Felicia calls Amaterasu “Bao-chan” (as in bow-wow), essentially the same as calling her “Woofy”
She’s dies so fast on my team. I suck tho so that doesn’t really count.
Having a bit of trouble with doing toy touch into j.MMHS, the second j.M always seems to whiff. I can do j.MHS with no problems in the corner, but anywhere else the most I can get is just j.M.
I had some luck with her but that’s mainly because i’ve been playing people worse than me online. I haven’t had much time to practice the game seriously yet due to work and school.
Felicia is character you need to put a lot of time into to do massive damage. A lot of her BnBs require semi-high technical skills and you need pretty quick reactions.
Also, her power grid shows her with seven speed, which is basically the speed of light. XD
I’m with a few others, who mentioned having trouble doing j.MMHS after toy touch.
Is there something we’re missing? Or perhaps I’m doing the combo wrong, and it’s actually impossible. How many hits do you guys do with standing H? I do all three in the beginning of most combos for hit confirm, but maybe it does too much hitstun proration.
Also, any tips when using Kitty Helper? It’s useful and my friends hate it, but I mostly just run up and mash low attack, and then when I get a combo, the helper knocks my opponent out of the combo.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I can’t do more than 4 or 5 reps with the light cat spike in X-Factor. Any execution tips? I’m using a TE stick.
A good multi-hitting assist is great will Kitty Helper. See, the problem is that your opponent can push block you and ruin the super. Assists like Chun’s legs or Doom on the rocks help you get back in since assists cannot be push-blocked.
Practice this against Ammy outside of the corner and keep on trying the combo until your muscle memory can be able to pull it off with ease. :3
I am still having problems doing toy touch -_-
I generally have two main problems with her BnB; First is landing the j.M after Toy Touch in time, I tend to hit M too soon after Toy Touch and ruin it. Second is being too slow with the S on landing, I also think that if you’re not fast enough with the j.MMHS you’ll finish too low and won’t have time to hit the ground S.
I also remember someone saying to scoop them up as close to the ground as possible after Rolling Buckler, might help with landing the air juggle after Toy Touch.
Saying that my accuracy got magically better yesterday, no idea why I was just hitting the combo much more often, probably go back to missing it now
Dancing Flash KFC Please Help Me I think I’ve worked out, need to KFC pretty much immediately after the launching kick of Dancing Flash to give PHM enough time to catch them on the way down :3
Also Felicia + Lv3 X-Factor = kitty on crack/catnip, she’s so damn fast I can’t keep up with her and it also seems to make certain juggles impossible
I can’t get even one rep to work and I can do her toy touch combos pretty easily. is there something strange you need to know?
Yeah, in LV3 X-Factor the standard OTG relaunch doesn’t work, (Edit: Actually, it turns out it does, you just have to input it stupidly fast) you have to replace it with :df:,:uf:,:l:,
,:h:,:s:,(land), and you have to use only 2 hits of :h: during the juggle because the third one randomly misses.
I find the easiest way to spike loop is to hold :f: between reps and do it as :qcf::l:.
i.e.:
:f::d::df:(hold :f:):l:…:d::df:(hold :f:):l:…etc.
Much less tiring than going back to neutral every time.
is the cat spike loop grounded or juggle? doesnt seem like it should be hard but im having trouble.
