my dad works at capcom and he says mvc3 will have 3000 characters and money matches and better graphics than crysis 4 which is also in development at capcom.

I’ve got an idea (It’ll never happen). Put in Shadowcat (It’ll never happen), and have her super make her invulnerable to projectiles of any type for 10 seconds (it’ll never happen).
Put SF3-style parrying in the game.

On that note, exactly how many games have you seen balanced with a “large” roster? Because that’s insanely difficult to do.
Tekken 6 and Soulcalibur 4 are fairly balanced.

Games with rosters like those two could do much worse. In all honesty Tekken 6 in particular sees a variety of character choices. I don’t wanna be ‘anecdotal’ but I don’t see any one character too much personally. Unlike certain games where certain characters and certain teams are safe bets.
Tekken 6 is actually really well balanced.
