I play it from time to time, I just dont like assist spamming.
You like people playing Storm/magneto/sentinel and nothing much, I don’t.
It’s jsut as easy as that.
I just said I didn’t want this game to be that assist-spameable and it probably won’t as devs will not make the same mistakes again.
Honestly, that is the big thing about it. Good? I don’t know about that but I would agree with fun.
I’m not sure how else to say this but most people aren’t going to care that a casual doesn’t like assists.
Don’t play the game, it’s just easy that.

Because it probably won’t be the same way if MVC3 ever comes out.
The game before it had rules in place to limit assists. It was taken away for a reason.
And as for the AI, hell, I never even see them make a combo more than 3 hits long.
Saying what a good game is pretty subjective. If it appeals to wide audience and stays strong many years, I would consider that good. Ya’lls need to stop being blinded by tiers and shit, having tons of overpowered people doesn’t make it bad.
I mean EA holds license of some Marvel characters until 2014 because of the renawal. Charachters common like spider-man, Iron-man(sega holds this license aswell some how) Hulk,TF4 and such. (and yes that includes Deadpoool) (see Marvel ultimate alliance)

It was probably taken away because fixing the game in order for it to work in a dcomplete different way was too much reprogramming BUT if they’re going to make a new game from scratch they will most probably write a completely new game-system (more like TvC’s).
And that sounds good to ME.

REALLY…when i was playing in the arcade mode i got ground combo’d, launched into the air, beat up some more… easily 10 hit… the kicker though… the computer taunted me after everything from across the screen at the safe distance.
but yeah. im pretty excited about marvel vs capcom 3 if everything does fall through.

I would give my 2 cents. Honestly, if there did come with part 3. The ONLY way it would work is if they had the same design team as part 2. Realize that the game is 10+years old so who knows what the original team is doing now. Some might have different jobs, some might have passed away, and some probably dont want to do it again. Lets not forget that mvc2 was an accident and was said to be a failure once it was completed. The development in mvc2 looks stressful with all the types and different supers for each characters and thats probably why they waited so long to give us another one plus I think they ran out of ideas. I can also say that if they use the same engine as tvc, the game will be a total failure mark my words. Tvc engine is not designed for those sprites and speed. Capcom basically copy/pasted the sprites for mvc2 from all the past games and upped the gameplay and engine. Clearly look at how the edges of each characters arent even smooth and very jagged. Tvc is terrible and if they did decide to go that route then they are wasting there money. The marvel community has already rejected tvc. Only person that plays that game is Justin and its just a phase for him trust me. Sanford doesnt even touch that game or even talk about it. You can tell when a game is good quality by the LIFESPAN it preserves. The jap version of tvc died in 8 months. Once people figured out all the infinite’s. Its was a wrap. Best thing to do is just to give us the same engine and change out/add characters. No need for 2 wolverines and servbot. That was a move out of rushing the development. Dante/Megaman Zero/Bishop and others was said to be in mvc3 a long time ago when that april fools image came along so it would be nice to see those characters come through in part 3. Closing, I would like to see mvc3 but with the SAME ENGINE and DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. What u all think?
You guys are gonna be in for a real surprise if this does happen. I predict nerfs all across the board, a far less abusable assist system among other things.
