I really need capcom to do this in 2d, Marvel is 2d the comic’s the characters we remember are 2d colorful characters. I’m no 2d whore but it would be wrong if they went sf4/tvc style.

Yes, pretty much. MvC2’s assist system is what makes it fun.

The fact that a lot of people play it doesnt make it a good game, it’s just played. The game is totally broken all over and assists don’t help a lot there.

I’m 99% sure no one on SRK is actually going to like this game over MvC2.

That doesn’t mean they designed it that way, play AI and tell me they spam assists all the time?
That just means assists were exploited and some people found some fun in doing so and other players saw themselves destroyed by assist spam that much that they had two choices:
-Start assist spamming themselves.
-Stop playing the game.
I really like this game but designers didn’t think about assist spamming when they were developing the game, not at such an extent at least. And that’s pretty much a fact in my opinion when you go see how IA plays.
