We all have our dream lists of characters for this game… I think it’s time to get a real shin-Akuma or cyber-akuma. I don’t think everyone should have an airdash(because triple jumps and shit give it variety), but I do think the shotos should have at least an air dash. I’ll save my wish-list for when it’s confirmed though. I am too damn excited.

I disagree with that. HF/ST are considered classics, and are the quintessential 2D fighting games to most players.

Sounds like an elitist stance. If you’re not well versed in the mechanic, I’m sorry. My advice would be to get over it and use it toward victory.
Problem with a 2-button throw is that it’s basically “press a button to throw” … I prefer the older style for throws where you have to slightly press toward your opponent and THEN press the button. I dunno, maybe it’s just me.

That much I understand, and it works well in many games. I don’t find it so different from 2-button throws (where you still would have to be within a certain range) that people would be babies about it’s very mention. Not many other posters present their thoughts as you do. For instance:
