i guess the difference is that with quake although it’s far from the most popular multiplayer fps it’s still accepted by most as the premiere deathmatch fps and has a few legit leagues willing to use it as such. says a lot about the sad state of the fg scene that were arent doing the same with sf2

That’s because comparatively SF2 isn’t as great as Quake within their respective genres and the disparity of skill between Quake and Halo is much larger than the one between SF2 and SF4.
