I hated the NEW X-Men designs, just hated them. Regarding Cyclops, my fave is his Astonishing X-Men costume. Simple, clean, only one X.
Wow. I never would have though Anakaris to really good. It good to hear about the other good characters. But unforunately, it’s marvel. Only being “good” is a bad thing. If you ain’t cheap or exploitable in some form, you’re out the door. There are many good characters that just fall through the cracks. It happens in many fighting games. It just hits harder because marvel’s roster is so huge.
Personally,I rather capcom keep tvc engine and make tvc2 3v3. It will be stupid for them to make the new vs engine,then throw it away. The engine is way more balance now. And it’s fresh. I hope capcom do something fresh like keeping the tvc engine, rather then trowing it away.
Also, mvc2 was accident, the crowd kept it hype.
Plus the marvel characters vs capcom characters is getting very old. If they want somewhat ot balance they better off doing capcom vs snk vs style. At least those 2 cast matches up.
if you dont enjoy marvel with the 10 or so tournament viable characters theres something wrong with you. those are like the most crazy characters of any competitively worthwhile fighter. every playstyle is represented. honestly there is no reason to have a problem w/ high level marvel play other than youre an idiot or are just being deliberately contrarian
On TvC vs MvC2. The main difference here is that with TvC Capcom has pretty much moved the series into the territory of what some have termed “New Generation Fighting Games” (ala GG, AH, BB, etc.), giving everyone air dashes, mega crash, bbqs, etc. Kinda ironic since NGFGs did take alot from Capcoms other franchises (Vampire, Versus, etc.) and simply put the best bits together.
Nah, I’d prefer X-23. Foot claws along guarantee she’ll have a few more moves than Logan.
Foot claws are nothing compared to pheromone clouds as a special move.

Oh Marvel and your broken love! Next one IF IT EVER DOES COME out needs major testing so we do not have an accident like Marvel vs Capcom 2. I still love Marvel 2 but wow it really does get boring when no variety is involved but when Silver Samurai lightening hits that Sentinel it is a near dead robot!
