X23 goes out of sight. :s: will initiate a powerful grab to finish the move.
Some more information on X’s divekick. The TK motion seems to be Half circle Up+Attack. It’s comboable out of, just like in the air. The M version hops projectiles and beams with the right timing, and TK’d H is basically a post-pubescent Psimitar that leads into an air combo.
M version does not look safe on block unless it hits late.
Nobody seems to be picking X23. For the most part people are avoiding execution heavy characters like X23 and Wesker. Ironic considering the complaints.
oh well X-23 isn’t a good day 1 char. too much going on with her.
people will need some time to work her out, or decide if she is even worth playing… she probably is but the lack of good overhead options kinda sucks. using viper burn kick assist might be a requirement, otherwise x-23 could have problems opening people up
that is not an overhead.
nothing she can do from the air except regular jump attacks are overheads.
if you x-factor it changes the property of her feints, her short hop gets much lower and faster. that would probably give her some more stuff but i didn’t have time to investigate.
Yeah, I thought her talon dive hit overhead. Haven’t played but looks like it will. Can’t wait for somebody to master her cancellable hops and post a video of them cancelling recovery frames.
Her overhead game is really good, are you forgetting about :h: Hop? It lets her do jumping normals so close to the ground. :l: Hop you can’t cross up with, hop crosses up, :h: Hop puts you in the air for overhead mix ups.
