It really WOULD have been worth it if it came on time and if everyfuckingwhere else didn’t leak it.
I also ordered mine from the Capcom store…no luck. I’m really tempted to just walk up to Gamestop to pick it up, but it’s only one day. It would have been nice to fucking play it though.
I think everybody that would benefit from ordering the game online probably has done so by now: destickying.

I haven’t received my capcom store pre-order yet either (I ordered in on Jan 18). My order status says “Boxed Shipment”…what the hell does that even mean? I haven’t received a tracking number or anything at all. Fuck this, is anyone else’s order listed as “Boxed Shipment”?
I spoke to Digital River managers (when I called to cancel) and “boxed shipment” was their term for the game sitting in the shipping box in the warehouse. Mine sat like that for a full day before I canceled.
I dunno how they managed to screw this up so bad, it’s pretty ridiculous.
I loathe Wal-Mart politics and business practices, but I couldn’t resist getting the CE at midnight at launch knowing that Digital River would have gotten me a copy “sometime next week maybe?” (exact quote from one of their managers)

i realize this is slightly ot and possibly common knowledge, but just a heads up to anyone looking to get a copy in-hand today; check walmart. my local b&m had approximately twenty standard editions available for each system and five ps3 special editions.
Have anybody here been to CraigsList lately? You have ppl trying to sell the SE/CE of this game for like $150 bucks! Would anybody pay that much for MvC3?
I received my copy today from amazon. I am so happy I did not cancel to order from capcom directly after reading the posts you guys put up. SE is home right now while I play at a comic book store.

If you ordered from the Capcom Store (CE) please post when you get yours. Seeing as they’re showing in Indiana (and I’m in California) I’m not expecting this to come in until Friday at the earliest

An hour ago I received my tracking number for my Capcom Store order which I canceled over 6 hours ago, after successfully ordering the PS3 Special Edition from Amazon. Ugh!!
I hope I can find someone locally who’d be willing to buy my extra MvC3 Special Edition from me. I think it would be easier to sell off the extra locally, than have to deal with Digital River again!!

My order comes home on the 17th for me.
I ordered on the 5th. UPS Ground.
Alright, so I called Digital River. I explained that when I ordered the game from Capcom I was told that it would come on release day and after checking the shipping log it is sitting in Indiana.
They checked my order and confirmed its in Indiana right now, then said that it was shipped February 11th and I should expect it within 7-14 days of that date.
So it seems like if you call your gonna get this answer. I wish it was possible to talk to the higher ups and ask why this happened.
I’m really pissed right now, cause Capcom fueled all this hype in me, and got me to order from them with promises of on time shipping and an awesome shirt. And now because of it I have to wait significantly longer for my game and I can’t cancel the order and buy from Gamestop.
Just picked up a standard edition second copy from Best Buy. The guy was like “You should have pre-ordered if you wanted the special edition, it’s a limited run, lulzy.”
Motherfucker, I did pre-order. Digital River screwed up big time. Oh well, I probably end up making a profit on the thing once I sell it if it’s really as hard to get as it seems.
