I mean, I survived the TE shit-storm of '09…so I am taking it for what it is. However, the fact remains that if the “Economy Shipping” orders do not go out today, there is no way we are getting them on Tuesday.
That’s some real bullshit. I can understand some people preordered with next day shipping, UPS ground, etc. They deserve to get the game on time, they paid for it.
But the biggest issue I have is that the Capcom Unity blog gave a 99% promise that if you ordered before the deadline with free shipping, you would get it on release. Why advertise it when you couldn’t live up to the promise?
I pre-order on 12/22/2010 with next day shipping, my status is still order in process.
Same, I’m pretty peeved here. I ordered about a month ago, paid for and all, and still “order in process.”
I took them @ their word for a 99% release date or earlier delivery with the free option. Really hope I’m not gonna get taken for a ride on this and not see a package till the following week.
really? well, i’m really confused. in your case, you ordered way ahead of time WITH next day shipping and your order status is the same as mine as it reads “order in process” (placed my order on 2/2 with free shipping). is it random? :wonder:

if it takes 7 days after the release date to get my game i’m gonna be tight…unless i can find an SE in the store, which isn’t likely. we’ll see what happens…push comes to shove, if i’m lucky i can get another SE from a RELIABLE STORE and put the SE i’ll get from capcom on ebay and make a profit.
I know my friend who lives in the same area as me got his today. I hope its not random, that would really suck. It defeats the whole purpose of pre-ordering early.
Haha, sounds pretty random. Sounds like Capcom (or Digital River or whoever) doesn’t know what’s going on. Even if you ordered with next day shipping, I would figure pre-ordering first would net you an earlier ship date because I’m used to pre-ordering first get’s you on top of the list of when you get your item. If they really do become back-ordered or out of stock, and haven’t met all of the pre-orders, then from the looks of it, some people that ordered the first week that the option was available is now forced to wait while people that placed their orders a week before release not only got the game before the earlier pre-orders, but also before it was even released.
But I’m not going to worry about it right now. If my order is still in process on Tuesday or even Wednesday, then I’ll be worried.
Just curious, why did you guys pre-order from online retailers? Is it because you thought you would get the game early or the free item? Serious question…

Well, I usually stick with Amazon. They have release date delivery for .99 cents, often offer bonus items and/or $5-$20 dollar promotional credits towards your next Amazon purchase. Both the SE and CE had the .99 cent release date delivery (which has NEVER failed), and the SE had a $10 credit. I actually had the CE preordered through Amazon (before they sold out their allotment) and switched it Capcom.com since they said that free shipping would be 99% sure to arrive on release date.
But from here on out, Im an Amazon/Gamestop only guy.

Capcom was supposed to ship the orders out on the 10th, depending on which shipping option you got, you received the game anywhere from the 11th to the 17th (for free shipping).
I have 2 GameStop, 3 Game Express, and a bunch of other random stores within walking distance, hell I had the game pre-ordered on newegg (which has by far the best shipping ever to my house) since november, but I just had to have that stinking shuma-shirt.
I blame the free shirt.

I like collecting things and also I had gotten SSF4 a week later because I went with free shipping. Wal-Mart is actually giving away a Marvel 3 poster with the game if you buy it from their store in person.
Question, are you sure no one ships on saturday? IIRC, Amazon always ships my shit on saturdays, and UPS (i think fedex as well) has delivered on saturday. In addition, while deliveries arent made on sundays, the item is still circulated and in transit so you will probably be fine.
Guess ill look for an early copy and then sell my special edition on ebay or something.
I have amazon prime so same day delivery is included and I can have it delivered to my job so it’s all convenience for me.
I’m sticking to amazon from now on as well. I only switched to capcom for this game because they had a deal with the t-shirt and I thought free t-shirt is better than no t-shirt.
My order still says Order In Process on capcom store, I ordered 1/16.
