I’m fairly certain I already know my answer (which is a big, fat “NO”), but is it still possible to purchase and/or pre order the game at b&m Gamestop (without a pre order) for a midnight launch/release? I have a few friends that decided to wait or were on the fence about purchasing the game.
I’ve had mixed input from several employees at different a couple different Gamestops who wouldn’t/couldn’t give an answer. I know sometimes they’ll have extra copies available even without a pre order while others will require the pre order even when they have more copies than pre orders. I’m going to try to call another one today.
def PD - The one in my area was still taking preorders for the regular edition as of last night, so I’d assume that as long as they have stock un-reserved, they would be more than happy to take your money now. haha
God i hope its just the east coast .i thought they were based in California . I hope they’re shipping from multiple places cause if they dont i probably wont get mine by release day since it still hasn’t shipped yet
i pre-ordered my copy from the capcom store. i just checked, and my order status says “order in process”. anyone know what this means? i’ve never pre-ordered a game before, nonetheless online.
I have no idea how they are shipping the Capcom pre-orders. Some people who live in the east coast and got it via free shipping got theirs, most didn’t. People that ordered early haven’t received anything while people that ordered 2 weeks ago got theirs shipped out already… sticking to newegg next time, screw that shuma shirt
is this for orders that were placed with the capcom store? if so, yea, i hope that this is not true, or i will be pissed. i had the delivery address to my work, and my office doesn’t open on weekends. wtf is going on here? lol. also, i assume there is no way we could change the shipping option for our orders at this point?
Are they serious? So 99% sure you get it on release day = 7 days past? Wow. I already said it was my last time dealing with Digital River and the Capcom store… and thats still the case!!! lol
And I canceled my CE with Amazon for a stupid T-shirt that I probably wont even get now, and if I do, itll be in about 2 weeks from now. SMH
Yeah, that the Unity forums in regards to the Capcom store orders…that’s why I am taking it with a grain of salt.
I am kicking myself for not shelling out for faster shipping, but I was under the impression that EVERYONE was getting it at the same time (no idea why I thought that, seriously) so there was no need to get next day shipping. I do not think there is any way to change your shipping at this point.
Also…and again this is Unity forums crap…some people are saying that they called regarding the “Order In Process” on their SE’s and are getting told that they are back-ordered and delayed.
