This is really good. It helps out a lot because it’s kind of easy to screw up the timing with the typical bnb to get from one side of the stage to the wall.
Nice Relaunch, but i’m having trouble nailing the L M H after the air zip line + S. Any tips? I tried delaying the S but no luck.

And for anyone having problems with the relaunch, there isn’t much technique to it as others have already said but the only advice I can give is to hit the opponent with the M-H-dfP+S as quickly as you can once you’re off the ground because the slower you hit with it, the higher off the ground you will be making the relaunch more difficult. Other than that, just delay the S. It should be easy because the P+S puts the opponent in a pretty long hitstun and Spencer has a vertical looking S attack.

Persona that whole thing is godlike. Maybe not the end, because imo as a combo move Lancer is overdone, but still. Good technology. I know people have said it before but I only saw the video a short bit ago, since I haven’t been around SRK since the weekend.
I just… It makes me feel so sad to know that, with diagonal grapple now carrying you to the ground regardless of where it hits, that’s not going to work anymore. But hey, at least we get two months of it.

It’s what I’ve been doing for a couple weeks now, but I never uploaded it, even though it’s pretty good. I’ve been busy with Guilty Gear, I guess. That game’s great.
The best way to make sure you can get the H to come out on the way down is to make sure you’re at the right height, and that you’ve dashed up quite a bit. Curiously, characters that you can normally do just whatever against (Like Cap) are the hardest to do it on, which is why Cap is shown here. You can pick up Sentinel with H from this, but you can’t get an unscaled vertical grapple off of it, as far as I know.
Amaterasu part is just a minor corner-only optimization from what I was doing before. It’s also just a very fun combo to do, since so much different stuff is happening in it.
I can not get that relaunch for the life of me
everyone falls way too fast
Basically, you:
Want to be as low as possible so that you instantly hit the ground.
Want the opponent to be as high as possible so they don’t instantly hit the ground even though they’re falling much faster than you.
That’s the whole trick.
So after you hit :s: you start your homing jump as soon as possible and IMMEDIATELY hit :h: :df::atk:+:s:. Then, you wait a bit. And then you wait a bit longer, because you can wait longer than you think you can. Then you press :s:. And with timing that almost feels like you’re doing a chain cancel, you hit :l:, 'cause if you did it right you land basically immediately. Hit :s: later than you initially think you even can, and hit :l: sooner than you expect to be able to.
I’m mainly stuck at timing the air S. it’s either i’m waiting too long to not waiting long enough. really annoying
This relaunch is only good to use if you dont want to use up the Wall bounce, or youve already used it up somehow.

I would of loved to see a better ending on those combos though. like using chris mine assist to land a super. lol
The whole point was to use no meter. Yes, I could have used the DHC glitch to kill anyone, but I wanted to show that’s not always necessary.
Feel free to tack on Thor Mighty Smash, Cold star or whatever other assist lets you extend with another grapple or super.
Anybody have any advice for landing the hidden missile otg for vertical grapples on the left side? I can do it 100% of the time on the right side and I know its supposed to be a bit more strict on the left side but sometimes I honestly feel like its completely random and just doesn’t even work on some characters, I’ve just been using horizontal grapples but it makes me feel bad about myself
If it’s not too late into the combo you can try to launch and jump cancel into it, that could help a little. Honestly though, there might be a small part of the cast that it simply does not work on.
You’re better off learning who it does and doesn’t work on. Off the top of my head, I think it just plain does not work on Zero on the left side, but luckily he doesn’t have much life.
I suppose I’ll get around to making a list of who it does and doesn’t work on at some point.
