I don’t post on SRK often, but I wanted to talk about the IM stuff. First, you can combo off cr.H with a number or assists or even a simple dash>5L (it’s kinda hard). The fact that it comes out when you screw up seems like a bad reason to take it out? I mean, you could always not screw up. Like you would in other characters, or in other games. It would be nice if his launcher had more range, but the real problem there isn’t the launcher, it’s that 2M and 5H push the opponent out so far. If I were to do anything to IM it would be to make it so his tri-jump doesn’t pause before he lands. As it stands its impossible to tri-jump into a low effectively because of the pause, and whiffing a j2H is risky. That and let him cancel his dash like a normal person.
These are the good ideas, the other ones came off as basically whining.
What you should have wrote:
Wolverine’s invincibility on Berserker Slash changed to Projectile invincibility only. Dive kick only ground bounces if enemy is in Launched state.
My two cents:
Ryu gets a cancelable dash, command overhead f+M becomes special or super cancelable.
Crumple states do not put the target character into an airborn state when hit, but further crumple states cause a soft knockdown(for infinite prevention).
Arthur’s Axe projectile swings around behind him before being launched across the screen.
Arthur’s Golden Armor ending causes a soft knockdown instead of a hard knockdown.
Hsien-ko’s air dash speed increased, or made similar to her ground dash teleport, Henkyo Ki duration increased. (Hsien-ko needs to be reworked from the ground up honestly but this is a start atleast.)
Fix Shehulk’s and Amaterasu’s Aerial Exchange glitches(they are glitches, you can’t honestly contest that).
Captain America’s Hyper Charging Star can hit OTG.
There are a few more buffs I think some characters need, but I’m not familiar enough with each of them to make an informed opinion.
i can accept these. these seem like good ideas. and sakiedo have some quality nerfs for dante that he should have such as the hitbox nerfs on swords, but the rest was him whining.
so what if it don’t combo? well you can with a assist , you not think it could help with zoning or if you are push blocked? you know if it hits you can get a full combo after? its a shit move but taking it out is rash . if you get it by accident its your falt do his chain correctly next time
I won’t get into your next point but that’s not true you can jump m on reaction to a lot of stuff and then that’s 700k
There isn’t much I would change. Here’s my list.
Haggar
- Make lariat hit crouching opponent
- Give violent axe projectile invincibly on start-up. Best just for M and H violent axe. He looks like he’s sidestepping on start-up so it’s plausible
- speed up his wavedash
Magneto
- More startup on disruptor. The guy can move anywhere on the screen in the blink of an eye. He doesn’t need such a fast projectile. Make more durable to makeup for the slower speed.
-Greater hitstun degradation on his loops.
Chris
- Have the regular grenade explode on contact. The guy is seriously lacking in anti-air. This would at least help him little against opponents advancing from the air.
- Make prone shots hit low
- Give his land mine assist the same invincibly properties as Tron’s gustoff flame
Hulk
- Give Gamma charge super armor when played on point.
- Gains a speed boost under X-factor
- slightly bigger hitbox on j.H

Hoodlum Launcher- Less startup on M/H and less recovery on L/H (H should recover quick enough to attack in the air)
PD- Grab range and damage increased + forced getup. All versions should have 0 startup.
Backdrop- Grab range and damage increased + forced getup. All versions should have 0 startup or invincibility until the active frames. L version and M versions should have less recovery so you can mix up how long you float
Not really necassary, but would make a lot of sense buffs

[FONT=times new roman][FONT=times new roman]Hyper Haggar Slam- It should do at least 600k damage or get a big range boost. This move is crap and wastes like 8 seconds of your X-Factor if you XFC to lvl3. Doom’s XFC out of blockstun to lvl 3 is also better/less escapable[/FONT][/FONT]

Haggar’s needs damage and range on ALL throws increased. His throw hyper needs to do massive damage. Invincibility on body press and fix rapid fire fist.
Also increase his damage output a bit to about the same to Wesker.
I disagree with nerfing the top tier, that can backfire more so than buffing the lower tier. Maybe some minor nerfs but nothing that destroys there game strategy. Nearly all of those would destroy Dante.
Just like the Dormmy nerfs would drastically hurt him as well. Would destroy one of his matchups(him vs 5 bar phoenix) with the Stalker Flare nerf and flame carpet less time would leave one of the few chars with a solid keepaway game shown in tourneys completely open to rushdown. If that happened he would need more buffs. Speed increase and increase some properties of his tools.
Dormmy is fine where he is and maybe make his 3C hit OTG to set up a nice level three combo.
Cap invincible cartwheel is a must IMO. Would open his gameplay up to several options. Maybe make his SnS assist his H one. Increase his overall speed and range on his level three as well make it hit OTG.
Hsien Ko MAJOR speed buff. She needs to be in the upper levels of speed and make it where her gong has less startup and fix properties so works on all projectiles and fix the combo dropping issue.
Joe, improve hitbox or priorities on a lot of his normals. Give his divekick some herp derpiness of Trish/Logan divekick.
Arthur, make his projectiles have high priority quick and unreal damage. Increase time of golden armor and make him move faster since he has no dash. I mean, his lance and sword projectiles need to be the strongest in the game.
X-23 give her feints bersearker slash treatment with going through projectiles and make her charged command grab charged have projectile invincibility.
She Hulk give her wall jump assaults either super armor or make them lightning quick.
Hulk give all his gamma charges out on the field super armor. Make him into what he is in the comics. You hit me, I hit you harder.

The same thing Thor’s got a issue with. The solution is the same aswell , wiff a normal that has no chance of.becoming active during the tri dash and he lands quicker
Haggar’s combo damage is fine, but for the only real grappler in MvC3 his throws are pretty lackluster on range and damage, and he doesn’t get much off them. These I can see being buffed.
Dorm’s flame carpet already hits OTG, and so does his lvl3 super. Hell his lvl3 super will wiff if they’re not completely touching the ground, which is something I’d fix(because it is pretty stupid.)
I don’t agree with X-23’s command grab getting projectile invincibility, feints getting projectile invincibility isn’t a bad idea though.
Arthur’s projectiles are already pretty beastly as it is. Daggers are low priority, but you can get 6 on the screen at any given point. Golden Armor’s duration is fine, but the self hard knockdown is a gamebreaker. Arthur needs to be constantly firing projectiles, and the soft knockdown would atleast only make a temporary lapse. Honestly I’d rather have a permanent Golden Armor as Arthur’s lvl3 super, but that would probably make him too beastly.
One thing about Gamma charge is I think armor is potentially unbalanced, where projectile negation is more desirable. I always wondered what the point of Gamma Charge if it didn’t provide Hulk a way to not get zoned out so badly, this is what it should be.
Jill:
Make her feral crouch dash a true teleport
Give her a ranged projectile (guns)
Able to call assists while in Feral Crouch
Redesign Mad Beast to be viable. Regular auto combo like Lost in Nightmares would be nice. If it has to be a custom combo, give us the ability to have more variations and change it to a lv1. It is too costly an ability to use and then completely drop.
Forward air dash (would make knee drop rushdowns viable instead of an awkward sj. that has to be super accurate)
Slightly more damage
No speed boost on Xfactor
See my post back on the first page… I think Light Gamma Charge should go through Plasma Beam, but only take you 1/4th the screen.

Why would you even want that? Voltage is a great assist, tons of hitstun, doesn’t knockdown like other beam assists and barely scales the combo since it only delivers 1-3 hits based on character size. Sure it’s slow but round trip is even slower and prorates like shit.
Very light super armor on Gamma Charge. Just one hit, and let him keep his zone weakness but make him into the you hit me, I hit you harder monster he is supposed to be. But projectile invulnearability would be fine as well.
Something needs to be done with Dormmy’s 3C liberation to make it more useful. Currently is useless. And yeah Dormmy’s level 3 whiffing on bouncing needs to be fixed.
Morrigan give her a good damage buff, Shuma damage buff and remove the stance on a lot of his hypers. A lot of characters can be fixed with some small tweaks to make them able to compete with the top tiers.
ummm no. this is beyond the dumbest request i’ve ever seen. this assist is among one of her best along with peakaboo. it aids wesker and dante well when they need to close the gap or do 50/50 teleport mixups. if anything, it should probably start up faster.
i approve of these changes accept the nerf to speed boost in xfact. jill should be quick and deadly imo.

XF3 is a cause of a lot of “problems”, and XF2 to a lesser extent. Maybe shortening their duration would help alleviate this.

I want to chime in and say yeah, Haggar’s command throws need to hurt like hell. Xf3 Haggar Buster should kill most than half the cast with a full lifebar.
