Who cares if you can’t win a 3v1 without X-Factor? It starts 3v3 and I thought the idea was to kill off the other guys characters. Why should he get to press four buttons and get to even it up by different standards?With X-Factor certain character get WAY too much more than other characters.Teleporters should not get speed boosts and beams should not do 900k or whatever the fuck Akumas beam does. I can’t tell you how many times I have been ahead just to have the other guy pop lvl 3 and kill my last two characters before they even hit the ground.
Funny thing about this thread is that X Factor got buffed. You can do it in the air in Ultimate.
Hey something i think should be removed from mvc3 is xfc out of block stun. Its much too strong in mvc3, it leads into a death combo and often wins you the game, only because one player tried to be offensive and attack. Sure holding your own XF counters this strategy, but it is simply so damn good do you really want the meta game to revolve around who has guard cancelled first. XF is strong enough as it is and there are other ways to land grab supers in this game, i hope they get rid of it entirely.
Last char vs last char, both have xf, its often who xfc’s out of block stun first (ie when the opponent cant coutner xf eg jump attacks, which will be diff cause of air xf in umvc3 at least …still its lame)

X-Factor also lasts for a shorter time, does not reset damage scaling upon activation during a combo, and gives standardized boosts (no longer character-specific) that are weaker across the board.
Fun idea - Wolvie’s Berserker Slash still has its invincibility, but never crosses up. :l: and :h: versions still cross up, but have no invulnerability to compensate.
Also, reduce frame advantage on his dive kick. And on Dante’s Hammer too (+20 on block wtf).
whats up with the complaining about hammer and j.S… hammer is only +20 if you do it at the absolute lowest point from the ground. i think that they should probably add a few more landing recovery frames to make it easier to whiff punish though. and as for j.S, its pretty fucking horrible on whiff or block. it having a decent hitbox is just logical compensation for that.
Yeah, the j.S whining is silly. And why is it surprising that j.S has a crazy hitbox when all of Dante’s normals have a crazy hitbox?
(+20 on block) - (time til landing) is still pretty safe in most non-combo situations where you would use Hammer, though. A move THAT safe with THAT much invincibility? Something’s gotta give, even if only a little bit.
