MVC2: Using Cable by FluffyXXL (repost)

actually i was going to put that into the combo. i wanted the wall combo to replace the scimtar at the end :evil:

Wall Combo? Please explain

its something like this: swims way back in the day when he whitnesses this very cloudy combo after the beam, then jumpin kick into second and follow with the oc launcher from the falling charachter sj, then some combo of kicks and punches till there like about half way down, then gunshot (which is what is screwing it up)then the crouching fierce, (not to the groin though :lol: ) hits them before they hit the ground again and kinda launched em off it (he stuck em disruptor right there, when he launched, kinda launched em into it and they stayed there) then the last 2 beams; which are done like you normally would.

its bad as hell but i cant remember the kicks and punches to the gunshot. i’ve been screwwing around with this for a while and i’ve got the whole crouching fierce and em disruptor part down but can’t connect the two parts together because of the air combo into gunshot and the only ways i can get the gunshot to hit don’t connect with the rest of it. :confused:

lp mp /\ lp lk mp mk hp lp mp / s.lk cr.mk cr. hk… WEll I think you can otg w/ scimitar or another cr lk. well if you otg w/ scimitar you can do ahvb then just dash and do oc.fierce call doom aaa /\ lp hk / j. hp ahvb… well i am not sure at all i just made it up can someone please "confirm it or something or just get more into it or something… well thank any ways and damn if that works…

well … :bluu: hmmmm. the thing about that combo i listed is that they never get the chance to hit the ground. its a juggle, kinda like cykes infinate …

well to re- quote myself on that combo, incase it sounds weird it like: reg combo then you can catch them w/ the lp hp thing and then you can do the FSD by triping them in the air and all then just go from there it’s really hard & i’m not sure it works though

this is just a repost to see if anyone has tested this out yet. First let me start this off by saying ** I know how to do the tiger knee AHVB already** Another thing… i’ve been testing the move out myself(still haven’t done it with a block cancel yet) and i’ve done gaurd breaks, the 3x AHVB, i’ve put it in combos, and got it off like a tiger knee when someone was trying to hit me with something.

So the flash kick works basically like the tiger knee i just need some info on block cancelling with it. Somebody test it out before you try to crack on it.

hey everybody, i have a few questions about cable…and since some of these questions sound sorta retarded…i’m making a disclaimer now: i am not spamming this thread:p . yeah, lately i’ve been playing with trying to make up some whack combos. i’m not really a tourney level player, i just like the game, comics/capcom and all…

anyways, i’ve read some of this thread, i’m not sure if it’s been explicitly stated…but i’ve read something about a “tiger knee gernade” with cable? my best guess is a down, back, up floating gernade…but i’m probably wrong about that. (1) what is it? (2)how do you do it? (3) and when to use it? i’m too lazy:o to read pages and pages to try and find out what that is…so could someone tell me? that’d be great:D

are there any cool combos/or ANY combos with psy-charge? :wtf: yeah, that move people don’t really use at all. the one where cable somehow manages to pick up the whole guy AND throw the guy across the screen with one arm. i’d like to see what combos are available before i decide how good/useless/craptacular this move is.

its like everybody elses tiger knee motions; which is unlike the ahvb

… you have to delay it to some extint … play around with it more or less.

just figure it out with how YOU should use it in your game.

It’s not comboable, but I’ve actually been using the whiffed nutgrab after s.fierce… it has less lag than whiff psimitar or blocked viper beam so I can move quicker. You can also cancel s.roundhouse into whiff nutgrab to make it safe (short crackdown is AHVB-safe, but still vulnerable to rush).

well thats not entirely true…

i came up with a combo for Hot nuts …
s.lk, s.fp + storm (a), one shot cancel to lk. grenade, dash forward hot nuts…

the same will work for sent drones but its harder imo.

but for the most part, outside of a specific combo with a specific assist, it isn’t comboable.

Corner:
j.RH, s.FP (gunshot has to come out), grenade, repeat x3.

I dunno if it’ll work forever since it’s a grenade and people can mash out if they’re lucky.

ya I think it is an inf. cuz if you dash you can do it forever

when u tag into cable, how do u do a standing launch without having to do:slp,smp or clk,smp?
