I picked up 2 last week - $99 each.
And yes, they were brand new - no scratches or any of that ish.
So now I have a PS3 MVC2 TE and a 360 MVC2 TE added to my collection.
Nice! Forgot to mention the new one I exchanged it for was also brand new unlike the original one I purchased a week prior.
I got one for $99 at gamestop about 2 weeks ago. It was the last one left.
If you find a used one like opened, they’ll give 10% off the GS card might make it extra not too sure on that.

so the mvc2 TE sticks are the same as the sf4 TE sticks except with mvc2 skin?
yes. different colors, but same sanwa parts.
I love the art on these sticks, gotta get me one.
button layout is also different.
The button layout is easy to fix…
Just open up the top cover of the stick and rotate the wiring on the last four buttons one-position clockwise.
(I’ve never liked those “special” one-game purposed button layouts. Manufacturers should just stick to generic button layouts and let players customize the layouts in the Options menu instead of forcing it on gamers!)
That fix alone convinced me it wasn’t worth it paying for an SF IV R2. Same cases, just slightly different PCB/button layouts. It’s easy enough to turn an MvC stick into an R2 if you must have another SF IV stick. You can cobble your own custom artwork and if you want color the bezel red, too.
I just don’t think it’s worth the extra $30 when you can just swap wiring on four frickin’ buttons!
As for the artwork on the MvC joystick… It’s okay but I’m not convinced the stick is worth it for that alone… Frankly, I kind of like the box artwork better. I’ve already taken off the art on my second MvC stick which is being customized for a different superhero theme.
I wish they would have been $99.99 for a few weeks longer.:mad:
^Me too but I did not rush to the store to grab it. I ended up pre-ordering the new “s” because I like the small changes MadCatz made.
