You gotta have good defense, and you gotta have an arsenal of tricks thats deeper than his. Can’t just have plans B and C if plan A doesn’t work…you gotta have B-Z and 1-9 when A doesn’t work. it prolly boils down to ‘you have to know the game better than justin’; apparently nobody does, which is why justin seems to adapt faster than everyone else.
this thread is awsome it can help t increase your level of play to stronger depth ( exactly what evry player wants) so i belive that to succeed in this shit you’ gotta have to learn to block every kind of attack ad i think it would be great if any pro out there could tell us huge basic of blocking to how to block tri-jumps , t o detrmine if a char attack is ging to croos ya aass up ect to help ya have better defence and little by little develop a strong blocking ability in the future.

Watch their feet, if they leave the ground then block high. if you saw a sj splash then you might have to block a cross-over. it’s just fast and tricky to do in the middle of a match because people can just regular jump no splash and call assist to cross you up.
copy his team , use the same team that he uses on the match (make sure you are a pro with every character a all of that stuff)
people may “booo” you cause you copied his team , but is all on the strategy.:evil:
It’s gonna’ take a lot of patience when trying to beat Justin, although not impossible. I believe it’s imperative to have at least a 98% execution rate. I’m serious, some of the players that could have actually dethroned him have come so close but couldn’t finish and that little margin of error in a game like this could be the determining factor in the case of a win or loss in a match.
The other thing is what was stated before about the adaptation of other players. This is where Justin does this so well that makes it hard to actually beat him. You can sit all day and watch all of his matches but that will only get you so far. He never falls for the same tricks twice and can block nearly everything thrown at him. This is primarily why he is #1.
For crying out loud, he used Marrow/Guile/Tron to take down a team in the team tourney which is impressive. The kid is too good. That is his game. He knows how to play everybody. And is this rumor about him using a low tier team consisting of Kobun on point and had 20 OCV’s with him along with a perfect win from Justin using Roll?:eek: 
Can someone confirm this? I’m pretty agnostic toward this concept brought to me. I don’t doubt this happened but at the same time I don’t want to believe the hype, ya’ know?

Or, get really, really, really really good with Strider/Doom.
Or just be really good with counter-teams. Sent/Mag/Cable and Storm/Cable/Sent do pretty well vs his more recent common teams (MSP, team Row, S/S/CapCom) though sometimes you may need to start a different character.
You look at the splashes? WOW, i dont know how few people do that, i’m so busy waiting for a splash i get hit low, so i just block on reaction. BTW you just have to stay calm to beat justin from what i’ve seen.

well from watching evo it seems like storm/sent/cy is his money team so im thinking if you can kill his storm you have a very good chance of wining but killing wongs storm looks almost impossible:lol:

I’m gonna jump straight to the point let’s start things off with Jwongs main chrc MAGNETO! we shall discuss the way he uses him offensively and defensively and then list a possible outcome of potiential chrcs to use to help.

As i see it, the only way to dethrone him is the day before the championship match, wait for him to walk by in a van.Then jump out, put a burlap sack over him, drag him into the van and drive to alaska.By the time you get there He would forfeited the match.

wong’s mag’s always i the air tri-jumps little and does sometimes the jump infinite and he seems to use him for battery t bring cable ready to rape your team and 3 levels all he needs to fuck your game up:mad:
One main thing I will say about Wongs mag is this. U don’t have to worry about him hitting u with the rom infin., but that doesn’t mean that he won’t hit u with the nromal jump infin or use the set-up of the rom infin for a reset or different combo. I don’t think he uses it because of the high RISK factor of screwing it up. Wong is all about business, he’s about getting in there and thrashing u and not wasting time on infin.
Also too many ppl jump torward him in the beginning of their matches and end up eating Cables AAA again and again. Yes wongs mag does tri-jump but he only uses FK to tri-jump attack or cross-over never any D+lk. If u get too close to his Mag he will use Sen proj. while he regular jumps or sj and just toss out random or intentional FK’s. If he air combo’s ya he’s going for the full air combo. He’ll test out your mashing skills with a shorter Mag combo off an assist to see how u react to the HyperxxxTempest. If u try to Sj while he’s air borne it’s gonna be a FK or a reset using FK. That’s some of what I’ve seen so far with wongs Mag. his Mag isn’t flashy, but it does hella damage which is enough to build up for cable if mag dies or is snapback or swictch out.But Mag is his first choice.
STOP FUCKING PRESSING SO MANY BUTTONS, you are going to fuck up, get hailstormed, and just be another ‘damn almost beat justin’ statistic, just dont’ do it, stay as far away as possible, and if by chance you get that lucky hit, just do a DHC combo to storm and finish out the timer. do shockwave combo everytime psylocke hits or you get a launch, that way you don’t have to come on here later and post about how you messed up the infinite or messed up doing a “reset”

I agree with u fully on that statement. In fact I’ve noticed that even the mighty Justin Wong can fall victom to Psy’s assist. The only prob. is like u said is the fact that ppl don’t take advantage properly. If u got a Hyper gauge bar USE the DAMN THING!
