I saw the vid a few months ago - unf. I gave it a try and couldn’t get more than 2 reps - I’ll give it another try, but my execution is ass. I did see the vids of j360 using Ruby heart. - incl. the one with Ruby / Doom / commando. I think he’d like all the stuff Ruby / IM can do together. I think you should make a seperate thread for all the vids on your channel - or at least a weekly highlight or something. It’s easy to miss stuff on Youtube.

Interesting, that this card running perfectly on the old Naomi 1 system while the newer version (841-0007C-02) not (just on Naomi 2).”
What I want to know is if there’s gameplay difference between the different versions…

I wanna ask a question about something. How does the Sentinel unblockable work because if you do it in training mode with auto block on it only does chip damage. I found a couple of weird things out about MvC2 that are interesting. When Blackheart does Heart Of Darkness, Anakaris can actually Mummy Drop Black heart or any character can use his throw assist to counter attack Blackheart because his dash animation is so slow. Another weird thing is that when Hulk uses Gamma Crush on Sentinel and Blackheart, Sentinel and Blackheart can actually block or roll out of the attack even though Hulk hits them to the ground where they can’t roll automatically on the floor. I don’t know if these are discovered or well known, but they’re just inner findings of the games mechanics. There’s actually a lot of special stuff to find in this game and I think a forum about inner findings of MvC2 would be cool or just bringing it up here.
The Dash recovery thing is somethign that’s been plauging Blackheart since MSH. Alot of the cast can simply just wavedash up to him while he’s in his forced dash and fuck him up. Anytime he causes flying screen he can be punished.

That really sucks for Blackheart. BH plays very unique compared to other characters in MvC2. There’s one good thing about BH’s dash and it’s that he can avoid certain projectiles because he disappears for a second.
They don’t block the unblockables that are listed in training mode (Special moves and Hypers).
The sent unblockable doesn’t work on the puter… but does work on humans.
Gamma crush… when not done properly or in certain situations (all of them cept the proper setups) you can mash out (stand up and start blocking) make no mistake tho… you can’t if done properly. Also it’s everybody… not just sent or bh that can mash out. The puter will sometimes do it (like if you set them to safe roll and whatnot in training i believe they will.) It’s harder to get unmashable crushes on big characters though… so those two could be mashing outta your setup when others can’t.
Ya… blackhearts dash blows. You can’t cancel it… even the game itself can’t cancel it (during the forced dash it causes during flying screen.) I agree with his normal dash not being cancelable b/c it passes through shit and would be cheap as fuck… but the fly screen dash should be fixed to auto cancel soon as flysceen ends. (it wont ever be tho.)
What’s the proper way of setting up Gamma Crush?
BH can cancel the forced dash after HOD - the CPU can do it and IIRC dasrik? Viscant? posted about being able to do it a fraction of the time ( 1/10th?)

Either use an assist… or hit with it raw with them nearly on top of your head… or cancel into it from gamma charge with them nearly on top of your head.
I have played hulk for a decade… for untold thousands of matches… and it’s still tricky sometimes.
Try doing gamme charge xx gamme crush… and play with different timings. What you want is the slow spiral hit stun where they barely hit the ground before hulk lands the rock on em.
Basically there is a cancel point where it’s easy to mash out… a cancel point where it’s hard (sorta like mashing outta grav x tempest), and a cancel point where there isn’t enough time to mash out at all.
Check out the ‘how to smash stuff’ thread in the hulk section. A good amount of detail on landing the crush in there.
