Mvc2 online works great, searching for more players

Just test it out with a friend that lives close by and it was pretty much unplayable the way it lags/gets choppy. The game runs fine on my PC and full 60fps, but online it’s choppy with delay on inputs. Well it at least let us connect to each other and it wasn’t out of sync but the lag was too much. We tried different ratios also but it didn’t really seem to change the lag much. It’s a good start hopefully they figure out how to make the online smoother.

You lie. STFU and GTFO.

They can’t. Kaillera, 2df, and GGPO are all closed source, so there is no way for anyone to use either one or improve any one. Kaillera is the only one that at least uses an interface DLL so nulldc can use it, but without the source there is no way to improve it.

I got it to play with pegasus, but the lag was pure shit, not worth playing at the moment.

step 1: replace kailleraclient.dll with p2p kaillera dll.
step 2: ???
step 3: profit

It doesn’t use kaillera client.

in a nutshell: join kaillera server to find someone, get his IP etc.
then use the old/buggy NullDC 1.6 beta to play online

terrible.

ive had decent games with someone off kaillera who doesnt live near me but he doesnt have a dual core so its slow. that koh person wasnt using a dual core either and it was too slow to even play. still waiting to play someone with a dual core like myself.

where do i find iso’s for this?

you know better than to ask this
-fb

Thanks, I’ll check this out.

so has anyone successfully done this and is it worth it? if so can someone place some specific directions?

nullDCs own netplay is horrible shit. It would be better to just play e-mail MvC2.

I’ll be testing this all day tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll have someone to play it with. :arazz:

Ohhh hohohohhh, sounds like a challenge to me!

Theory fighter money match, LET’S DO THIS.
