interesting. i already ordered a bunch of ultimate pushbuttons for the joysticks i’m making. thinking back on it, i guess i have played on both types of buttons and i prefer the horizontals as well. i just never knew it was the position of the switch that made them feel that way. i don’t like those competitions though it feels like the slightest breeze will push the button for you. i need my buttons concave so it actually feels like i’m pressing em.
Did you just recently placed the order? Maybe you can stop the order before it ships and exchange them for horizontals. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to play on the ultimates after playing on the horizontals. I have a bunch of ultimates that I took off from my 2 MAS sticks and now those buttons are lying around collecting dust. Now I don’t know what to use them for, except maybe for the “start” and “select” buttons on my future joystick projects. Just to let you know, happs has a sale on horizontals for only $1 instead of its usual $1.75. I was originally going to get the competitions but I couldn’t resist the savings on the horizontals. Now I’m glad I got them b/c the horizontal buttons they sent me are excellent in terms of quality and feel. Oh yeah, ultimate sticks are also on sale for $8. it’s way too late, my parts are expected to arrive tomorrow. thanx for the heads up on the prices though. maybe i’ll place another order.

If you know how to get to Roosevelt Field mall, then you shouldn’t have a problem. Take either Northern or Southern State and hop on to Meadowbrook Pkwy. Get off at the Old Country Rd exit and head east towards Westbury (away from the mall). After a few lights Nathans will be on the right.
I will be there around 8 or 9 and I’ll try to bring heads. Damn, there’s gonna be mad people playing. 
magnetos son: were most definitely gonna be at sunrise on wednesday for the powerpuffgilrs movie at night so if you want to play then, otherwise well be at nathans today and/or tomorow

Well I just got back from Nathans and boy do I suck.More then 10 rounds and no wins. That kid that was mashing like crazy broke some of the damn buttons.
