Yeah, Me and Bernard was there. That’s the one I always go to. What time were you guys there? I was the one using Mags and Bernard was using his crazy-ass Capt America team. Whens the next time you guys are going?
Yeah, we were there from around 8 to 11:30. you probably saw Golba, he had the ill cable and I had the Jugg/Venom/Doom team, and I did’nt win once. I wore the Punisher shirt. Was bernard the Capt.America the did double-jump air combos?
So friday is the best day to attend at nathan’s. Is anyone there on saturday?
There was alot of people there that day so I can’t really recall who was who. The only thing I remembered was that the machine was surrounded by mucho hispanics and one tall white guy:D. Yeah, Bernard was the one doing them jab-jab double jump air combos… it get’s annoying after awhile :mad:

That tall white guy was golba. And there were alot of spanish guys there. If you were using Magneto then you probably got me in an infinite against my Juggernaut. od I wish they would have all the characters.

Yeah, I was the guy yelling Magento sux and cirsing at the Megaman guy. I never liked him in the comics so my hatred carried over to the vs series. From what John(golba) tells me, Danny stopped playing. The last time he played was against John two weeks ago. The first day John won 24-8 matches i think. The second day Danny won 10-4. He stopped playing because of the lack of competition in his area he told me.Anyway whe’s the next time you’re headin to Nathans?
Oh and what kind of stick is at Nathans, 8-way or 360? I cant tell the difference.
umm… How are the sticks there? If they are good I’m gonna have fun on saturday lol :evil: :evil: I love killing mag players lol.
The sticks are 8-ways ultimates. They are set up high so the throws are kinda long. The buttons are horizontals and they are really close together. At first the controls feels awkward, but after a while you’ll get used to it. I’m trying to convince the management to swap the game into either the SF EX2 cabinet or the Xmen-SF cabinet. The controls on those machines are really nice and nobody plays them. So if you guys ever see management, keep bugging them about it, but of course, do it in a nice polite manner.
Ceo NB, there’s people there everyday around 7ish, so you don’t have to wait till Sat to get some action. But Fri and Sat prolly gets the most people. I might swing by there tomorrow with some heads, but if not I’ll be there Saturday.
by horizontal, do u mean the orientation of the micro switch? and if so, how can you tell?

I meant by both the characteristics of the button and the positions of it’s switch. The horizontals are distinct from the verticals in that they protrude less and has a lighter spring, and of course, has it’s switches horizontally positioned. Basically they have a better feel and are more mash friendly. I have both buttons and I feel that the horizontals are way better than the verticals that came with the MAS. But now, I’m really feeling the competition buttons because those are even more mash friendly. Check http://www.happcontrols.com and click on ‘buttons’ for further details.
