Combo’s sent definately saved him. His magnets aint fucking with gene’s, you can see how much faster gene moves with magnets it’s obvious gene has the better magnets, why u think combo started sent? And Gene was definately fucking up a LOT, if he executes like he normally does he should have won imo.
Combo started Sent cause he’s fucking smart, that’s why.
For those of you who just started watching marvel yesterday, I can name over a dozen magnetos in so cal faster than Combofiend’s, yet it still doesn’t make each of them better. Peter’s magneto has never been about speed. And so what if he started Sentinel? Gene is damn good, but if he was the same god with that team as these nuthuggers claim he is, that shouldn’t have been a problem. He at the very least wouldn’t have been getting OCV’d left and right.
The whole “Gene was fucking up a lot” is fucking stupid. He had more than 10 games to get warmed up. I guess that’s the difference between a good player and great player. A good player will be able to land his shit enough to win a couple games. A great player will land his shit consistently enough to get the job done and bring home some money. Was Gene getting careless and missing shit that a player of his caliber should be hitting? Absolutely. But so was Combofiend. You want to play that card of Gene not playing up to par, anyone who’s played Combofiend could do just the same. It’s damn pathetic how the bitches of the south are still crying over this. Gene manned up and ain’t making excuses for his loss. So why should anyone else? I guess I forgot these are the same people who did the same shit for Toan but were either too scared or too broke to put up money against Potter.

In the matches where he kills sentinel, I saw CFs slow ass magneto rushing in on gene’s sentinel as well.
So CF’s Sent>Gene’s mag (or basically his whole team)
and CF’s mag>gene’s sentinel.
I saw Gene messing up the infinite when he had sentinel, he was probably going to go for corner tempest the best way to kill sentinel, CF would probably just burn meter and dhc to im into sentinel for the kill immediately.
Most of these new guys coming up just copy EC marvel vids, whereas West Coast has uniqueness and different styles and play. Not surprised at the CF/Gene result and mike ross/toan result even though those south guys are hella solid as well.
