Before I recap last week, a quick word about this week: You can still use only one team, and it’s best 2/3. Results will be updated HERE. The 2nd week of Ranbats ends midnight Sunday, the 6th of September.
This is the end of the first week of Ran Bats and beginning of the second. First off, shout out to tharimrattler: Not only the most wins, but the most matches played. Group D had it going on!

Obviously more people didn?t play than did, so for this week I?m adjusting the groups in the following manner. Group A and B will be filled by people who have played last matches last week. Groups B, C, and D will be filled by those who played the least amount of matches or didn?t play at all. The more people we have willing to play in one group the more matches that will occur, and that is a TOP priority. Of course, no one is perfect, as despite my efforts I managed to get in only two matches.
I was considering putting Tron and Doom on the banned list this week, but while there was a good deal of clamor to get these two removed, not a small amount of the opposition came from people who didn?t manage to play a single match. I?m holding off on banning additional characters for at least one more week.
On the OP I?ll be removing references to where players play out of. Lag doesn?t seem to be an issue, and removing references to location will allow me to sort by group and save some space. And I’ll have the spreadsheet updated and emails sent out some time tomorrow.

i have at least 3-4 wins, and added another tonight vs someone else in the pool. Only lost to tharimrattler. PLayed everyone in my pool who was available.

TacticalPanda: Are you going to put up another spreadsheet like last week? It was helpful in keeping track of everyone, and verifying that results are coming in accurately.
For all intents and purposes, having something called a Low Tier League, and allowing people to play as Dr. Doom and Cycolps is comical at best. There is nothing even middle tier about these guys, yet they are legal here, for whatever reason.
Just had to share my opinion on that matter. As long as they are legal, I’ll probably use them in my team this week then.

I’ll make a note that you think these characters should be removed. I don’t think it’s comical, as to me ‘low-tier’ marvel basically means not god-tier. All the same, I’ve been hearing more and more about getting rid of Doom/Tron/Cyclops, and I’ll reevaluate as this week comes to a close.
