seriously. doom and cyc need to go. cyc can pretty much be a lower tier storm (run/keep away, land, assist call, chip, repeat…plenty of low tiers can’t touch him) against most of the bums. doom too (unless you specifically pick like cammy or something…even then, it’s uphill imo). they are high up on the top tier list for a reason lolol
and if you can pick them all. doom/cyc/tron or capcom is rape lol

On the subject of Doom and Cyclops, I think they only become tier problems with the proper assists, though I’ve read that Doom is still supposed to be fairly high, so I’m not sure.
It’s actually a little confusing that this is called a low-tier league if that just means using characters lower than the highest rather than the ones at the bottom of the ladder. It makes the distinction of allowed characters less clear.
doom with less than proper assists or even no assists are going to force you to pick like certain characters (or just cammy) to try and beat him. cyc too. may as well play cyc also.
no god tier and no top tier seriously makes sense. doom and cyc are top tier for a reason, get them out. I understood they were out but now I’m not sure.

Well, banning the top point characters changes the playing field considerably, and it keeps things simple. Banning certain assists would really complicate things.
Besides, CapCom’s AAA gets stopped by plenty of stuff.
yeah if doom isnt banned thats retarded, he’s easily the best when you take out god tiers. he is instantly mag/storm/cable/sent combined under the circumstances we are playing under. UNSTOPPABLE!! I thought it was weird that Cyclops isnt on that list as well. He is easily the best character available under the rules posted. Like Beats said, he is the new storm now.

they really should be banned, slightly for assist, mostly for point play. I’m also open to the idea of banning capcomAAA/tron assists too, because they will pretty much be abused/make things not interesting. this can go either way, but Doom and Cyc being banned are a must
I was playing “low tier” with people who would pick cyc/psy or cyc/tron. run away all day (none of my characters could do anything to him on ground or air) chip. get hits into combo/repeat keepaway etc. I was in the lead when he came out, but he mostly snuffed my next 2 characters. doom can do that shit too. they are top tier, so they need to go. then you can really have variety.

@ the banning of Tron/Doom etcetera. Dudes… it’s obvious that if you ban the top tiers the medium tiers will immediately be the god ones… if you want it to be all on the same level you’ll have to ban everyone except the crap.
If Tron’s projectile is banned then Capcom’s anti-air should be considered as well, because maybe it doesn’t do a lot of damage but it is the most space controller AA of the entire game, if you can get over that you can get over Tron’s
