we all know that you cant defend against cable’s guard break
i just think that it is unfair that a thread with some strategical merit is shut down to make room for the verbal feces that we are being exposed to here

just so yall know u can escape it. if cable is next. if cable jumps and fp wen ur guard gets broken u do ur hvb. they will cancel each other out. or if u have sent use that one air special and dhc to storm or iron man

Your thread was closed because you didn’t put the name of the game in the title of your thread. It’s a simple rule…Additionally, if you were unsure as to why your thread was closed all you had to do was follow the link provided by the moderater. You had ample opportunity to READ and learn. Instead, you go to other topics (where people follow the rules) and throw insults.
Furthermore, your topic wasn’t so revolutionary:lame: All guardbreaks happen if you can hit the opponent while he’s blocking in normal jump mode and then follow-up with an attack. If it’s about timing, there are hundreds of guardbreaks. This thread was searching for easy or unblockable guardbreaks (like cable).
Remember RIF:
Cable’s gaurdbreak can indeed be escaped. Even the j. fp, land, j. fp, AHVB.
Cammy: KBA
Magneto: Magnetic Tempest, DHC Hail or other safe super
Sentinel: Air Rush Super DHC Hail or other safe super
Strider: Excalibur over the top of the gunshot and beam, works better the closer you are to Cable(hella risky though:p )
Iron Man: Air dash up, Smartbombs to wherever Cable is, works better the closer you are to Cable(again, hella risky)
Spiral: Teleport
Dhalsim: Teleport
Cyke-SOB DHC to safe super
Doom: Photon Array DHC Safe Super(might help if you air dash up a bit before you do it, if you think you can that is)

Sent: Fly after pushbock…Timig is fuqin hard if cable just arc his beam down n den up rite away…
Storm: Lightning Attack upforwards…Dis shit saved me alot:D Same as sent basically…but u have 2 do it fast so the beam doesn’t hit u
With Storm, you might want to try Lightning Attack up to forward, straight ahead, and then straight ahead again. That way you get farther forward and you don’t risk falling down into the beam.

i never claimed my topic to be verey revolutionary i just wanted the feedback of others in regards to the same or similar issues
i basically wanted to discuss other assists that have the same capabilities
as well, my intent was not to insult people who are new to the game, (if that is what you thought, you are a single celled organisim on the intellectual food chain) but it was simply to seek mediation.

Guardbreaking with a move that attacks from the ground is impossible. Air blockstun sends the opponent straight to the floor. Unless the opponent is the CPU, who for some insane reason has different blockstun.
if i let myself get hit by cable’s bullet (fp), would he still ahvb me when i’m coming in? i’m pretty sure he can, but is it harder for him to hit me if i let myself get hit, or should i pushblock the fp first?
Most non-cable/magneto guardbreaks are fuqin useless because all you gotta do is pushblock the first blockstun hit and you are safe…
Thats why in tournies you dont see many guardbreak attempts except with cable.
Wtf, there are plenty of gb’s with ironman/magneto/storm/cable/one with sentinel and even more that don’t give a fuck what you do, you can still get caught. pushblocking doesn’t stop their guardbreaks even to a hopeful degree…
Anyone know how airthrowing works right when somone comes out after losing a char?

Point char is coming in, my cammy sj’s and fp throws them…then combo but wtf was that all about? am i remembering wrong because this doesn’t seem right…
It’s not difficult anymore. The scenario laid out at the start of this thread is true, with the only exception being - if the character being guardbroke (?) is cable then he can counter with fp, ahvb.
Ryu: jump u RK, slight pause, shinku hadoken.
Akuma/Ken: jump RK Hurricane Kick, launch

the most useful tool for gbs is feeling the game. i know thats really corny but its true. after a charachter dies the game slow down just a little bit as it loads the next charachter. for cable its easy: as the slowdown happens jump, at the peak of his jump yo will meet the opposing charachter as they enter the screen. fire the pistol, fall then tiger knee ahvb.
with sent (this is tricky but sets up some big damage) when you feel the game load, do his drones special move if you timmed it right they will bump into them as they enter the screen. then let them fall untill they are right above the ground and do crouching mouch laser you should know what to do after that.
cyclops has a gb simliar to cables. do the optic blast in the air when they appear (as described in cable’s, with the pistol shot) then right before they, and you land, do a full-mega-super optic blast thingy.
with captain its realy easy but i don’t use him on piont unless i have too, anyway: learn his fierce kick throw. you know the ungodly damaging throw. in the corner its almost a semi-infinate i guess. wave dash to their side and wait their untill they fall to you and grab them and mash for all the damage you can. when it ends the will like bounce up from you instead of normally boucing away because you’ve got em’ in the corner and get em again as the fall then again… yo get the picture BUT the best thing is is if the tech hit they will still fall right in your lap. besides cable i find this to be the best guard break and most reliable + it does insane damage and takes its toll on the person your playing’s game. it isn’t exactly a guard break but hell who cares i do this as my tacktic when i’ve got either big damage on my charachters or i’m just down to captain. chase em to the corner if you can and do this tacktic just watch for tech hit airdash.
does sent have a gb where you j. fp and then lp rocket punch? i’ve done that to some people who are going down from the sky and to people who are coming in from the side. i don’t know if they just fell for the rocket punch, or it’s a guard break. alright, later.
magneto sucks
gaurdbreaks are the funnniest thing to use when ppl don’t know about them… they’re all like - “WTF??? :mad: I WAS %$#%@ING BLOCKING!!!” ahhhhh… that’s too good… :lol:
You can’t airthrow an incoming character until you guardbreak them. That’s why Dhalsim can’t Yoga Strike an incoming character, but he can Yoga Thrust XX Yoga Strike them.
