Since there are conflicts on who is actually going and who is still playing or good for both WC and EC why not let the new guys step up into some of them spots. Only a few vets seem like they wanna do this fanaiq and smooth anyways. Also if a lot of the vets have moved on or dont care anymore that is more reason to let the new hungry players on the team. Marvel may have died for some but others people still love the hell out of it.
I personally don’t wanna see a low tier 5 on 5. There is no way I’m gonna suggest khaos for top 5 on wc, even if he’s good. The same way I won’t suggest clockwise or abe. They’re pretty good, just not nearly at the top 5 level. Trust me there will be enough top players there that r not “new skill”
I like the notion of low tier 5 vs top tier 5 and then run it back the other way.

you guys know why this wont happen? nobody besides the real core would want to see the new age vs new age. they arent house hold names, or even close to it for that matter so there wont be widespread hype at all.
second, even if EVO staff announced that this will be a big screen event (which is not the case) so get our teams picked and ready…most of the top names either dont play the game anymore or moved onto sf4.
marvel can still be hype tho. but with individual mm’s and such.
so let this shit die already and create hype for 1v1’s out of bif wagers and rivalry.

The main reason I suggest new blood is that in essence they are the new marvel scene since a lot of people have appearently moved on. If there was a new school vs new school that would be koo also. Wouldn’t have to be on the big screen. Or like Preppy said have a low vs high tier and then vice versca. This would be a good seperate event apart from the big 5 on 5.

Noone moves on, I’ve been in the marvel scene since 2002. They claim they quit cuz they’re like children. A new thing comes out so its like “oooooo I wanna play taht game now” then you give them a few months and then its like “yea I like the old one better still”. Marvel is crack and we have no rehab for it, so you can expect everyone to relapse soon.
