Nah, I don’t mash, my execution just sucks and against fast-action teams I run into lag hell. It’s pretty funny to me playing against Mag or Storm teams and winning and then whoops screen jump something horrible just happened DED. :lol:
Generally I’m a defensively-minded player, so the frame advantage my opponent gets from that + online or w/e lag tends to gimp me. It’s definitely been fun trying to figure out how to account for that.
I can’t imagine we have any sort of grievance. I tend to try to avoid people that I know I have connection issues with (LCD or router, I’ve never figured out which, but I’ve come to lean towards it being the router, since the same ping to X is unplayable whereas to Y it’s fine…), and have fun playing casual matches. I don’t hurt anybody, don’t really have any false sense of pride, and know that while I’m not great I can generally play good or fun sets with most anybody. Admittedly I reallllllly tend to want to play pure casual when I’m playing casual, or at least only play semi-seriously against peeps with a good connection, but that’s just me. I tend to get headaches trying to correct for screen jitter/lag. shrug
Sorry dude if you were trying to start any type of drama. I’m pretty much a happy relaxed guy who’s got a good life, so I ain’t got a lot of concern about online games needing to define me. Got a job, got a car, got a house, got a girl, got a nice chunk of money in the bank, am fit (if pale as a ghost), am relatively attractive to the ladies, have had fun expanding my artistic wings… what the fuck would lead me to want to care about or engage in online drama? :lol:

It really pains me to see ciger in ranked. Everytime I run into him, I spend the rest of the ranked night selecting matches by Custom Ping. =\
i ONLY do custom myself. aside from the few games where the person’s connections spikes all over the place, it’s much better to deal with. and then you don’t have to play against idiots like magic who take the laggy games seriously and declare frayness or saltiness incorrectly (really, who does that after online games across the country? aside from magic? only weirdos online who RQ in my experience)

I don’t like using Custom Ping because then you can deliberately play or avoid certain people, making it less random. Plus it takes longer. But after a couple matches against people from Japan or Florida where things are all herky-jerky, my inner child dies and I suck it up. =\

I’m on random hours depending upon what’s going on. If it’s after 1am pst, I’m probably in pure casual mode unless you’ve got a mike and we’re quietly talking crap to each other. :lol:

Sounds good. I’m definitely still learning him/playing around with him, but he’s a lot of fun. There’s few things more oddly hilarious in Marvel than taking advantage of Sent players that don’t know how beastly his jRH is. Does anybody know an xbox online player by the gamertag “shaggydoo” or “young al” or even "young al 002??? something about how he plays or even that his only friends are his own gamertags is odd. all of his moves are ridiculously very fast. extremely fast. and he blocks everything and i use msp, santhrax,row, and i i dont suck at all. and he uses the iceman,wolverine and guile. Get back at me if you know something.
oh I think I know that young al 002 dude. from chicago supposedly. trolled on my low tier with him picking cable. so I picked top tiers too and his constant taunts of course stopped. he uses that guile assist extremely well.
