What do you guys mean by “turbo”?
Standard “turbo” as implemented by a “turbo” button. Can issue button presses faster than humanly possible. TE sticks have turbo switches built in. Probably gives you a 10-20% boost with many characters. You can often tell, although many people will lie about it when questioned. If they’re mashing out 25+ hits with Tron drill everytime, probably a good sign that they’re turbocharged.
Oh I see what you’re saying, for some reason I thought you guys were referring to the game speed turbo 2 cause a lot of folks on XBL love to play on that speed.
BGs to Cigar1990, i think he is from japan, his lag is fucking horrible, and then when he has me 3 characters to 1 he proceeds to run away with storm the rest of the match, I try to msg him to let him know and he doesnt respond…he probably doesnt even know what im saying
I’m pretty sure he has limited English, so I think he gets it. He and everyone else who insist on inflicting their horrible connections on people: OUCH.
Once I start seeing people like that, I start picking Custom matches to get decent pings. What’s really ----ing annoying is when these people then try to play casual matches with you, as if playing psychic teleport Marvel was an interesting use of time. =\
whats annoying is when your racking up wins in a room and someone with shitty connection jumps in and stays there, like they arent lagging.

xBRxSHOWx. Not exact but you’ll know him when you see him. The second I called an assist, all I heard on the headset that wasn’t even on my head was “FUCK YOU ******”. The neverending stream of cursing and bitching was amazing, apparently calling assists isn’t how I’m supposed to play the game. My best guess was he joined ranked expecting to win instantly, but had his ego destroyed by repeated beatings by people who knew how to play the game. After the inevitable ragequit, I felt inclined to file a complaint, something I never am motivated to do.
That reminds me of the VERY FIRST game I played on PSN. I used a speedup combo with Rogue on some dude and he ragequits and sends me a message saying “Play the game right idiot.” The following games and people I played went downhill from there. lol
Rogue on point vs someone who doesnt pushblock is just ow. You can chip away with that infinite into super or just into another speed boost it’s sick and I always got hate mail after doing that to people.
I’d have had more sympathy for the guy but he tried to do a very poor version of Megaman’s keepaway with psy assist.
