There’s no reason for this game to not be 6 buttons. They freed up two buttons by killing assists. Does Infinity Gem activation need it’s own button?

No assists. Extended combo system is basically all on the tag-during-combo system, from what we know. Of course, this also means no more neutral assists or get-off-me/panic assists.
