Bio weaponary isn’t Doom’s shtick. Technology and magic yea but something like Nemesis isn’t his MO. A Nemesis would be in hydra’s and AIM’s ballpark. If an evil lab in a castle is what you desire than Mister Sinister.
I guess the first theme is Thor’s. I’ll miss his theme from 3.
EDIT: Pay attention at 3:40 and 2:48. It seems that when Chun activate the power storm, her theme started playing. If someone can identify if it’s Chris’ theme at 3:15, then we have a sneak peek of Ultron’s theme at 1:57.
MH was special for it’s creatures while Savage Land is kinda generic prehistoric place that makes it special for a non-otherworldly Marvel Character, MH need to have a more bizarre pairing. Agree with Neo St Peterburgs.
AFAIR crouch and walk cancels prevent you from going neutral after landing and your opponent is only allowed to flip out/air recover if you are in neutral.
I’m guessing what we’ll see at E3 and CEO will be pretty damn close to what we’re gonna’ get come September. I personally think that some better shading and lighting would do wonders for the visuals (that I’m surprisingly okay with, even if if they aren’t as stylish as UMVC3). I mean, look how much the models of KOF XIV were improved with just some quick tweaks.
I really want this game to have a large community of players, so I don’t want them to scare off new players with sub-par bells and whistles. This is especially true since Injustice 2 just released overstuffed with bells and whistles. I found the the first injustice to be fun, but clunky (not surprising, since that’s how I’ve always felt about mortal kombat), but I bought the ultimate edition and don’t regret the purchase because it gave me so much bang for my buck, and the second game has continued in that tradition. I could just figure out characters on the fly in that game though, unlike marvel where I have as much fun in training mode as any other mode and need to because I’m dissatisfied with my play otherwise.
I’d personally be happy with a barebones story mode that served a dual purpose as a basic tutorial for the mechanics and some of the easier execution characters. I say barebones because I think the story’s premise is pretty thin anyway, and I think the story mode’s main purpose should be to get new players to see (and more importantly BELIEVE) that they can pull off some cool shit in this game and decisively beat a human opponent. That is how we’ll get a sustained influx of people to spar against, and a vibrant scene.
I want them to heavily improve the graphics, since it’s the thing people are complaining the most. I want the game to succeed. After SFV, they have to nail it on release. Anything they do after that, like KOF14 graphics improvement patch, will be too little too late.
I feel similarly, and think they need to do be doing that KOF Graphics Improvement Shit (or GIS as I will now call it) right NOW, before the game is shown to the mass gaming public at E3.
Everything has to be on-point by release. Graphics, netcode, content. Outside of the lack of content, SFV’s CFN was terrible on release night and people had trouble with it for a good while before it became stable. This game needs to be clicking on all cylinders by day 1 to get out of SFV’s shadow.
I wouldn’t mind if there was problems with the servers on release, since I could just play good single player content that wouldn’t require being online to get rewards (because I’ll play this game a lot anyway, I know it would be really bad for the game’s reputation if that happened).
I’m wondering what unlockables we’ll have. They said there’s a Collection/Gallery Mode with Dr. Light. I’m guessing that’ll be where we can look at endings, bios, and other stuff we acquire.
As long as I don’t have to unlock characters and stages they can put anything in the gallery. Music, art, costumes, colors. Those were make fine unlockables.
