If you read Marvel Comics you’d know her. She’s all over the community. Hated or liked. She’s like a second Deadpool.
I’m confident Deadpool will be in (no bias lmao). Marvel’s treated him much differently than the other boycotted characters.
The X-Men & Fantastix Four have had no merchandise since 2015 (except for very recently for the X-Men. Maybe a good sign?), they’ve been taken out of the crappy cartoons & mobile games & their comic presence has been significantly reduced (though X-Men are making a decent sized comeback next year).
Out of that, Deadpool only hasn’t been in the shitty mobile games. His presence in the comics has actually expanded, as now “Deadpool” is an official sub-line with multiple Deadpool ongoings and spin-offs with an editor overseeing it. His merchandise has blown up too; Japanese companies are even making figures of the comic version of DP when they only make movie versions for MCU characters.
Plus, Marvel seemed to be much more friendly and supportive of the DP movie than the X-Men/F4 movies. As they did some character rights swapping for it. They’re even using the Deadpool movie version of Negasonic in the comics now.
I think this whole “no X-Men” thing was a paranoia that was fed into way too much, we only had two sources that it originated from anyway, both very loose; the Malaysian animator who supposedly worked on the game that still hasn’t been confirmed, and Polygon assuming no X-Men/Fox owned characters would be in the roster to feed their own article
I just can’t see a Marvel vs Capcom game happening without mainstays like Wolverine, ever. If the mutants are out though, I expect them to be DLC down the line

I believe it depends on the company relationship towards Marvel. Contract’s terms and condition does not need to work in general or as is anyways to everyone. Since Fox and Marvel have license and agreement for more than a decade and it does not affect Capcom.
While some try to speculate, assume and generalize that company terms and condition is as is to everyone which is proven false because of this

The sad thing is, I think you might be right. I’m hoping you’re not, because the reason Kamala was created was to push retarded millennial student politics, like nearly everything Marvel’s been doing in the comics lately. I should hope Capcom has the good sense to keep politics out of this game, or at least downplay the hell out of it if Marvel absolutely demands Kamala be in. Everyone with good sense knows that injecting politics where it isn’t needed is a good way to make things cancerous.
However there are some reasons to believe you’re wrong, such as the fact that Kamala hasn’t made a major appearance outside of the comics, and Marvel’s comic division itself is doing terribly these days, it’s proving EXTREMELY unprofitable for them precisely because they keep trying to bludgeon their fans to death with political garbage.
Personally I’d want the classic Ms. Marvel design, the elegant and sexy singlet-wearing Carol Danvers design they used in some recent cartoons and games, instead of the “creepy bulldyke” design they’re using for her right now.

Now I know you never read her book. She’s a superhero fangirl who geeks out to other heroes, deals with the occasional religious issues with her family and typical school shit. Only time Marvel went political with Kamala is the one-shot comic about the importance of voting. Honestly, since Carol moved on up to become Captain Marvel it freed up the Ms. Marvel identity. Perfect time for someone else to take it up. Marvel done a great job with Kamala making the identity her own. Can’t say that with the other legacy characters.
Kamala has already made a couple of apperances outside of comics. She appeared in Avengers Assembled cartoon and have been in three Marvel mobile games and is playable in Lego Avengers.
