No, its because Skullgirls got 2nd place last time, but Injustice got given a spot that year anyway, despite getting only $77 in the donation drive. They clearly got fucked by McRibs
Capcom said they will reveal characters any other month with SFV. Maybe they will just do SFV one month and MVCI the other month.
I think they will probably reveal something with the UMVC3 release on pc, xbox, and the physical version.
Skullgirls has a dedicated player base, but it’s so damn small that they have to stay with the anime games or be completely overshadowed.

This is interesting. When you factor in what’s riding on MvC:I’s success, you’ve gotta wonder how many things aren’t finalized yet months before release compared to how many things they hadn’t locked down for UMvC3 months before release.
