What if they put in Steven Universe
Combofiend was at FGTV the other night and was talking to Yipes and Champ off the air.
I was hoping one of them wouldâve let something slip, but no dice. Guess all we can do is look forward to next month.
As soon as Capcom drops anything you will all drop your panties. Wait for your overlords, you peasants.
The hype is getting weaker.
I donât think the game is going to drop this yearâŚ
A beta maybe but thatâs it.
Iâd rather they delay it than end up giving us another SFV.
Yeah, I agree. A delayed game>>>>>>>>>Unfinished game by far.
Maybe thatâs the reason the game wonât be part of the CPT? Or maybe it will?
Yipes said itâs not going to be in the CPT because Marvel is creating their own tournament league for Infinite. Not sure if Capcom will have anything to do with it, but it seems like something Marvel wants to organize. It makes sense considering theyâve expressed interest in Esports.
âA delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.â - Shigeru Miyamoto
I dont know if thats for better or for worseâŚ
Iâm not buying the whole⌠marvel wonât be apart of cpt thing.
Capcom advertised marvel at their own tourney and said they had other games to add to cfn and extension when they announced the service almost a half a year before SFV was released.
No way they have nothing to do with marvel esports wise⌠hell they put combo in charge of making sure the pro scene is properly represented.
It makes the most sense to add Marvel to the CPT, honestly.
I still find it hard to believe Capcom wouldnât be apart of it at all. Even if itâs titled something differently, it would seem more logical for the actual company behind the game to participate in these tournaments. Maybe thereâll be a collab, but Marvel will be the *one *pouring the $$$$ into the prize pool. That seems more likely than not.
Why the hell would they add a game thatâs coming out in late 2017 to CPT?
In 2018 sure, in 2017 at best youâre going to see exhibition matches for MVCI between some of the prominent mahvel players during Capcom Cup
Last day of the month.
Any possibilities?
No
I think they wonât add it to the CPT because they will just change the name to Fighters Pro Tour or something like that.
I donât see the need for changing the championship name, both games are still Capcom made
I am actually surprised that the whole month of January went by with no news.
On Friday it will be 2 months since we got news from this game, and DC announces a new character for Injustice.
Very uncharacteristic, especially from Marvel.
It probably has to do with the Marvel tour having different events and venues compared to SF. That, plus different sponsors.
