I hoped for a teaser image like the last game where it had everyone from the trailer plus more silhouettes in the background. You know the one, it had Frank in it but he never made it into the original game. And showing Chun Li or Hulk is not a reveal, we know their in the friggen game.
Hoping Capcom will just do what they did with MVC3 and have character reveals every month. There were many times where characters were revealed with no gaming convention in sight. Youâd just see a few character trailers appear online and that was that. If we could just get that, Iâd be good.
Iâm still surprised there hasnât been any official artwork for Infinite. MVC3 had artwork immediately after it was announced. If they could at least give us that with some character silhouettes, Iâd be fine. Guessing the characters is always fun.
Guessing is never fun with Capcom, theyâre gonna reveal shit the last 2 months of release probably, thatâs when everyone will have to figure out if theyâre annoyed af, or still hyped about the game due to being denied info for so long.
Now Capcom wants to do more to prevent leaks says their recent blog, yayâŚ
They always managed to fuck up after SFV. I hope the SFV team doesnât splash their shit practices at everything marketing and gameplay wise into MVCI. I never had a strong bond to SF, so I can drop SFV quite easy. Now, MVCI Iâll stick with to the end, but Iâll hate to love it if they handle it like SFV.
Same. I always loved SF, but the VS series is my mainstay. I believe theyâre trying to right the ship with Infinite. With the way they quickly mentioned the single-player options the day it was announced, you kinda get the feeling that they **know **they canât come with no half-assed launch this time around. Capcom can start fresh and release a complete game. I have high hopes for Infinite.
Also keep in mind that Marvel has a real vested interest in how the game performs this time around. They see Infinite as a foot in the door of eSports.
Yipes said it wouldnât be part of the CPT, didnât he? Probably it will still be part of the CPT, but theyâll change the name to Fighters Pro Tour or something like that. It would be nice to have even Tekken on that, since Harada is pretty friendly with other companies.
