Yup, SFV looked bad a year before it’s release too, Capcom even said it was in Alpha stage, but everyone still proceeded to shit on it. Then when it came out everyone was like " oh, well now, this is much better. "
Some people are too stupid, I know someone who’s bashing the shit out of MvC Infinite cause of the graphics, and cause they didn’t show Xmen characters in the trailer. " OMG NO XMEN CHARACTERS!? ARE YOU SERIOUS! WAHH’! It’s like dude… They don’t have to show all the characters right away…
I hope they put in a couple X-Men just to shut everyone the fuck up. This is a controversy I don’t want to deal with. I just want people to talk about the game, not the lack of X-Men.

One of the leakers already stated that the X-Men are coming as DLC.
Yeah, there’s zero chance of them not being in this game, if i’m wrong come at me, but ZERO chance. That’s like saying " wah! no Ryu shown in the first SF6 trailer! He’s not gonna be in it! FUCK YOU CAPCOM! Wah! "
That is a flawed comparison. Ryu’s 100% owned by Capcom, whereas the X-Men rights are owned by Fox at the moment.
A more apt comparison would be Skullomania’s chances of being in, as he was developed via Akira and developed by Capcom, so Capcom doesn’t own the rights to use them, and neither does Marvel own the X-Men 100%.
Fox only has the film rights. Marvel can license who ever they want for games. They just don’t like pushing characters that can’t be used in the MCU.

You’re gonna see another trailer for MvC Infinite at the next major, then at the end when it says Capcom, Sony, All Rights Reserved, you’re gonna hear:

It’s more than that. Fox and Marvel have a bit of a standing feud on the rights and regularly screw each other over. It’s a shock we got Spidey back
You can very well bash a game because the graphics are shit and they’ve decided to use recycled animations from it’s previous iteration. Both are very valid criticisms to make. Graphics, believe it or not, ARE a driving force with one’s enjoyment of a game. The very obvious ones that come to mind in the realm of fighting games are Guilty Gear Revelator and KoF14. Revelator? Best looking fighting game I’ve ever seen(KoF13 being second). The graphics compliment the incredibly deep gameplay design that the GG series has always had which is why Revelator is an incredible fighting game. Now look at KoF14. Hideous looking graphics to the point where the gameplay doesn’t even matter to some people. This ruins the immersion and overall interest to play the game for a lot of people. In fact, I don’t even hear people speak about this game anymore.
So yes. Graphics are an important factor in appreciating a game. Don’t be one of these silly gameplay “advocates” who say that graphics don’t matter or aren’t important and that it’s all about the gameplay. That hasn’t been the case for a long time and it definitely isn’t now.
I have no doubt in my mind some X characters will be in. The question is which ones?
I just hope they do reveals for newer less predictable characters earlier than later.
That’s because Spidey’s rights are with Sony, not Fox and they’ve been a LOT more open to collaboration with Marvel from the start. There was actually supposed to be a Spidey tie-in as early as the first Avengers movie.
I’ve really thought about the Fantastic Four potentially getting in. I don’t really care for them in general, but I think Invisible Woman could have an interesting moveset. I could see her being a trap based character utilizing forcefields to hit you and shit. Mr. Fantastic would probably be something akin to Dhalsim/Majin Boo. He can hit you with long normals, shapeshift into objects, and just be annoying overall. Human Torch would be pretty simple, and Thing would just be your typical bruiser.
I wouldn’t want the whole team. I’d just rather see Invisible Woman and maybe Mr. Fantastic.
I think Ms Marvel would probably take up that stretchy fighter archetype spot since she’s one of the most popular marvel characters right now

You’d get a vasectomy and Capcom would likely get their dicks cut off with the amount of time, effort and money they’d have to spend to do KOFXIII’s sprites.
I agree. I’d pay a ridiculous amount of money to make that happen. So yes. While Capcom said that not even the graphics are final, I pray that they can some how make the game look really good. For the love of God.
To be honest, KOF doesn’t look good, even after release.
