Not really, Iron Man and Cap still have their totally made up by Capcom movesets. I wouldn’t be shocked if the story called back to older games in the series somehow.
You guys do realize that Max’s audience isn’t the SRK forums and most of them probably haven’t figured this stuff out. So this is more the fault of whoever shared the video here.
I still am not all happy with 2v2. I want 3v3… i am ok with no assists but i want to build a team not a duo. Captain Marvel/Strider/Doom would have been a nice team… or Carol/Commando/CapAm. Alrhougg i get why 2v2 is needed for this gem battle system.
I’ve watched the trailer like 50 times now, and the artstyle is starting to grow on me. I think one of the issues is they are playing at night, which imo kind of distorts things a bit. I really hope the next trailer features a daytime stage so we can get a better glimpse at things…
I will say that at least X and Iron Man look good in the trailer . Ryu looked weird in MVC3 as well, I think his face looks like Kermits the Frog for some reason.
Yeah I think he looked weird in 3 too (I think he looks about the same in this one too). Ms Marvel looks solid too, especially in super saiyan mode; tbh all the characters look really solid, its just the other stuff that is questionable. It still looks Injustice-esque, but I also see some of the “comic book” style of past games coming out, which I couldn’t see at first due to being focused more on gameplay stuff. I really want to see how it looks on a day stage now.
MVCI currently is suffering from the same thing SFV (early stage) and KOFXIV did - there’s no lighting applied to the character models, that’s why they all look plastic-ish instead of having depth. It’s especially noticeable on Ryu
I think a good example would be to look at kofxiv before and after the graphics patch. That is what is going to be applied to the characters. Judging the graphics before they are done seems a bit silly.
