Okay, this made me laugh. You win. Old schooler in me be damned. I will accept this youngin’ vernacular and add it to my coffers.
A better question is will big fatties get chip on normals and if so will we see the return of Sentinel Fly-Unfly?

Please I hope so! Sentinel used to be so much fun to play. I feel that air-to-air battles in this game would be suitable.

They should follow the GG example, where the amount of pushback increases as time in hitstun increases
Please no, aside from not being “Marvel”, systems like that feel like a shot in the dark and tuning them to allow the series’ trademark freedom without making them useless is pretty tough.
Now, one of the reasons I like undizzy is that you can put a meter on it, which means both players have an idea that the reset is coming. It’s up to either to make the right call. The attacking player can go for max damage, or they can opt to reset early, throwing the defending player off.

“I’m telling you guys, you don’t have to guess so much. The MCU is down with MVC Infinite.” - After speculation about Marvel Netflix characters started.
According to Yipes, Marvel 3 had a working balance patch but never came out after Capcom lost the license.
Ayyyy! Let’s go Daredevil & Punisher!
Also I hope we get to find out what was in that patch one day. It’d be interesting to see what could’ve been.
I wonder if we’ll get regular Thor, or female Thor. Normal Thor is more likely, but I could also buy Marvel going with female Thor to help round out a female quota. Maybe even both

I like this idea too, but you should understand that in this day and age, more meters = more complicated…so don’t hold your breath…

Marvel, give us MSS

I know this will be an unpopular opinion but I’d rather just drop Sentinel altogether. Or, if you’re going to keep him in, make it a newer version.

Regular Thor 100%; it’s what’s in the movies & cartoons. Girl Thor could be an alt costume with a voice or a DLC clone though, I can see that happening a lot in this game. Girl Thor, Miles Spidey, Captain Falcon, Spider-Gwen, Ken, Zangief/Haggar, etc…
I didnt think id see the day when ppl dont know the difference between zoning and trapping

I hope combofiend doesn’t kill zoning too badly. I want my power of the power of the power of the creator.
combofiend isnt making the game
I don’t think this is entirely true. When asked what they were doing to ensure the “hardcore player wasn’t left behind by too much ‘accessibility’” the developers replied “we hired combofiend”…
he’s going to pass on his and the communities ideas and opinions other than that zilch, he is not making the game, or adjusting the balance
Do you have a source for that? Otherwise I’m assuming it’s purely speculation…
This is his role as a capcom employee same as Seth Killian,
He’s there for marketing and community reasons , just the same way he didn’t ‘make’ sfV
Also am I the only person who enjoys making fighters one player games?
Hell I once played a set against a iron fist player with Trish and it was fun as hell
I’m a asshole

If you read my comment with a sense of humour, you may have caught that I was joking.
Can’t speak for others though.
Every marvel game has some element of one-player game to it. In mvc2 you can lose at the select screen. 3 was interesting because it was much like marvel 1 where it gave you the illusion that you had a chance. In mvc2 the better player will always win a 3/5 or ft5/7/10/15. In mvc1 and 3 its a little bit closer, anyone can comeback with dat x-factor/well timed duo. It makes kings of scrubs and scrubs of kings

Nah bro, cable and spiral are doing the same thing.

Showing why the combo ended, or how much you can do before it ends, is much more accessible than hiding the reason and making people guess.
Also, SFV wanted to be more accessible and the stun meter actually helps in that regard.

Fair point. Although I think stun is a bit more intuitive than undizzy, but I hope you’re right because I think Drama meter works pretty well in SG

The sentinel in Capcom games is a special Sentinel only used in Capcom games. That’s one design I’m confident will remain in the series forever.

RANDOM GUY SAID SO.
SO IT’S CONFIRMED.
That’s the guy who leaked the MvCI announcement at PSX…
So it’s real. It’s confirmed. Official.
Not fake news…
This dude gave us the details before anyone else did, he’s legit. It’s not 100% confirmed, but it’s incredibly likely.
So it’s a legit rumor.
What does it mean “leaked release at PSX”? I predicted it too. I literally thought: “If the rumors about MvC4 from that twitter guy yogaflame24 are true, then it’s reasonable to expect the reveal during CC finals or PSX”. Or was there something else?
