Always wondered that myself. Then again megaman wasn’t in the game, like a smash game not having mario. That fact alone made the roster extremely weird.

I think it’s more because they wanted to sell any copies in Japan and they had very visually simple/non-gory moves.

I won’t even be mad if we get Morales Spider-Man, but thanks to Sony and Marvel working together on Homecoming, it’s a pretty safe bet we’ll see young Parker in the roster. Before the MCU, Spider-Man was Marvel’s brand recognition. He’s too huge a character to leave out.

And that might be a good thing if they use young Spider-Man.

If we can’t get any more Spider people as separate characters (i.e Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy who are around Peter’s age when he was in high school/college), they can always come to a compromise and just have separate Miles and Gwen costumes that have their respective voices on their costumes.

It’ll satisfy those who want said Spider people without having to make new characters entirely.

Mvc3 was 5 years ago now though…megaman still had some hope back then. Though with rumors suggesting Sigma in it I’m trying real hard to not get my hopes up for a suggestion that an mmx game is in the works.//derail//

LOL, this thread was so much fun these past 2 days! Too bad I missed out.

Anyway, here’s a thought. So, Sigma and Ultron are presumed to be in this game as a fusion and as a final boss. I actually don’t think this is so. Remember back in the first full MvC3 trailer how Dormammu was shown wrecking shit up at the end and everyone thought he would be the final boss? Well, I think the same thing is happening here. I hypothesize that SigmUltron will be in the playable roster. Not only that, but I think they will have a unique character property compared to the rest of the cast. SigmUltron counts as two characters and can only be picked alone. However, at the start of the round, SigmUltron starts off separate as Sigma and Ultron, each with their own attacks and movelists. To fuse them, a special condition has to be met, and when they do fuse, they become the most powerful character in the game. Think Dark Phoenix, except you’re locked in your team composition.
