I think it’ll most likely be Talbain since he’s the most popular one of the three you mentioned. Plus, he’s been heavily requested by fans as well. 
Do we really need like a million Guardians in the game? One or two will suffice, I wanna see other Marvel characters, both returning and new. Don’t see why it has to be anything more than Quill and Rocket/Groot.
I honestly believe we’ll only see Rocket w/Groot and Star-Lord as the reps.
Speaking of Darkstalkers, I still think we’re getting a villain rep from there.

Then it’ll most likely be Jedah since he’s also a heavily requested Darkstalker rep. So, he has a very good chance of being in MvCI.
As long as we’re not counting Adam Warlock as a Guardian, yeah, I only want those two.
The only Darkstalker I really crave is Lord Raptor so I can dunk on fools.
If he brings his penguin bombs, the slippery floor super, super armor mode and his high damage, you bet he’s gonna be Top Tier.
Unless Capcom wants the game to get an M rating Jedah is a no go.
Star lord can be new Cable
I remember everyone thinking UMvC3 Rocket was going to be Cable’s replacement. Star-Lord doesn’t usually carry around huge guns like Cable (or Rocket), so I don’t see that happening. If anything, I could see Punisher taking over that role.
Star-Lord doesn’t use giant 90’s guns like Cable though.
As far as Darkstalkers are concerned, I’d be shocked if the second rep isn’t Felicia. She is easily the number two character of the franchise after Morrigan.
Now, I’d much rather have Talbain, Raptor, Rikuo, Demitri, Donovan, or even Anakaris ahead of her, but I’m not getting my hopes up.
They already nerfed Morrigan tits, probably in advance of the game showing up on ESPN. I really don’t see Felicia making it this time.

If I ever got to grand finals using Felicia and they told me to make her wear a work safe alternate I would refuse. I would absolutely make a giant stink about it and not give them any quarter. What are they gonna do, disqualify me for not wearing the right costume? Eat shit Capcom. We never asked for this televised plague you brought upon us.

E-Sports hasn’t gotten THAT bad… I mean, if they were that anal about it then MK wouldn’t be featured at all. If a character like Felicia gets in, expect her default to be useable. That being said, I can’t speak on whether or not Felicia’s look will be toned down to show less skin (that already seems the case with Morrigan).
I hope they use this as an excuse to not bring Felicia back because honestly fuck Felicia, her voice grates my ears.
