Characters marked with a * are villains that could be hard to animate and have never been playable in a Marvel game. I haven’t played a lot of these games, so my intuition for villains may be off.
Shortlist is Franziska, Demitri, Rathalos, Wily, Rathian, Devilot, Lord Raptor, and Astaroth. If I can read into the situation a bit, the “I said too much!” part of the Pyron deconfirmation might be hinting that this is in fact a Darkstalker, and the only Darkstalkers on this list are Raptor and Demitri. Devilot and Astaroth would definitely be surprising, so I wouldn’t count them out.
I would never trust leaks with just typing lists. Except leaked images like the original model renderings & artworks by Capcom, mostly on full-screen & from CAM from official workplaces like in Capcom & gaming/cosplay events
Definitely Devilot IMO. Those octopus arms will be hard as F to animated. Also she was BOTH an assist in MVC1 AND a H&H card in UMVC3. So there you go.
Sure he would and you forget that previous games has had different characters from different Mega Man series and no dev has said that they are focusing only on the X characters.

Ridiculous. They only person Wily would be similar to is Tron Bonne and even then that would depend.
It’s probably not Wily, but being in the same game as Sigma wouldn’t be what keeps him out.

Capcom had alot of anime and kaiju influences, I hope would bring in other tokusatsu besides than Viewtiful Joe, Some characters with summon like Persona and Jojo Bizarre. Some of their Parody from Western and Japanese Pop Culture.
I am implying about Characters with Summons Spirits in Capcom universe best example are Donovan or Anita in MSH.
I just used Jojo Bizarre and Persona as a reference for describe their powers and capabilities because of those were popular Pop Culture trends in Japanese anime and manga. Another popular stuff of Spirit Summoner Franchise is the Shaman King.
Come on man, no one is deconfirmed from Mahvel until someone says so. This is the series that has Spiral, Blackheart, Shuma-Gorath & MODOK as playable characters.
As for Songbird, I think she has a pretty good chance. There’s been rumors that Marvel is building up to a Thunderbolts movie or show (hence why Zemo survived Civil War), I’m sure she’d be in that. They could put her in MvCI to get some awareness out for the character early like they did with Rocket in UMvC3. She’d have a pretty awesome moveset too, she was a fun character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
Unfortunately Ryce has stated this character is new to the VS series, I think Anakaris would be a great choice however as I am not a huge Darkstalkers fan I was told he is not really a villain.
That Ten Count Fall person just left a massive wall of text on reddit, they were still going at it on twitter last I checked…that said I guess we’ll just have to see character announcements to know whether this particular leak has any credibility…imo its too much information for it all to be true, its as if this person is just throwing shit against the wall and whatever sticks they’ll say “SEE I WAS RIGHT!” but there will be a ton of stuff they got wrong too, oh well.
