I actually suspect that Captain Marvel will have similar normal moves to Rogue because of this. Obviously her special abilities will be different.
If you look through lupinkos twitter he seems to be hinting at alot more. rocket raccoon, Mandarin, Dazzler… etc

When Infinite is concerned I would follow Ryce. He leaked the game’s existence. He’s the only leaker with any credibility right now.
The animation tweet was from Lupinko, not Ryce.
I think he’s referring to one of Ryce’s posts where he says “The animators deserve a raise for this one” or something like that. That’s why so many believe it’s a Darkstalkers character. A couple of them are known for being animation intensive.
It was Lupinko himself who leaked all of MvC3.

And seeing all his tweets, it looks like he is confirming Songbird for the game.
Songbird is IMO overdue and would be sooo good.
Very possible. Songbird is in a much better position than other lesser-known characters and she’d be an easy fit for the game. I can see her borrowing animations from Psylocke’s psi blast for her sonic shout. I would also assume she will have a stun/stagger move of some kind.

If Capcom borrows her misfit wrestler days with the attacks she used against Gravitron and when she led the Thunderbolts in their victory against the Avengers and her own battle with Captain America, she should be alright.
I mean, she is no Moonstone but she is an original Thunderbolt member and was leader of that team too as well with some very key moments.

There were so many HVH cards of Capcom villains that you can’t really count out anyone. The MVC1 assist part might be worth looking into though. I can only remember one character that was both an assist and a card, and also a Capcom villain.

devilot was in the pxz2 game as an assist. problem is that she’s from cyberbots, same series as jin and fits the mold of snobby princess like tron

Yep. She’s still never been playable in a vs game before, has elaborate animations, has been both a MVC1 assist and a HVH card and is a Capcom villain. She literally hits everything. I doubt the fact that she and Tron share a snobby Karin laugh will keep her from being the most likely candidate atm.
