MvC Infinite CHARACTER Speculation/Request Thread

I hope for a Breath of Fire character because that would mean Capcom was making something BoF related after a 13 year hiatus.

#breathoffire6neverhappened

I agree. I want Ingrid and Akuma. Juri, Guile and m bison can come as dlcs.

We only got ryu and akuma in umvc3 so if we get them again in mvci, its possible that we can have spiderman and venom. If they add ken, marvel might add spiderwoman rather than carnage.

Im expecting 2 character reveals this december, prolly on christmas day.

I hope so too like at least one and o ne more as dlc.

If they do bring him back, I’d like for them to rework his moveset, and redo his character model.

Have you even glanced at Carnage? Venom can’t do half the shit he can do with all his tendrils, axe hands, spikes and creating mini-Carnages. His normals alone would be god damn insane.

He wasn’t talking about Cletus. He was talking about Carnage.

Nina or Fou lu would do

If the roster is limited I would want a severe limitation on character per series. I e only ONE RE, sf, etc characters.

If were looking at 50+ I dont mind upto 4 SF characters (Ryu, Rashid, Guile and Juri). Cody can count as FF.

From Street Fighter, I can see Ryu, a SFV newcomer, and Akuma or Chun-li. Having four SF reps would be so bad. Plus, Akuma can bring way more to the story mode than Chun-li. But I guess the Capcom side of the story mode will have as much relevancy as the Final Fantasy cast on Kingdom Hearts.

And to make sure the game will sell millions more, Marvel should include at least 3StarWars characters.

Oh fuck…I hate how right you are…I don’t want Star Wars anywhere near this game.

Agree they could used instead Capcom characters inspired by Starwars like Plasma Sword character, Vile X8 and Solo from Strider. Then used them alternate costumes as a medium of promotion intead of directly puting characters because they are in a very different intelectual property.

One star wars character at least, darth vader

Fubarduck has been posting the characters Niitsuma considered to include in MVC3 before being scrapped:

I really would’ve liked to have seen Hood in MVC3. I could imagine his invisibility stuff being utilized there with some zoning.

Wow those pick was great Black Window, Loki and Vision should have been in MVC3 long ago.

I remember someone I was talking to suggested 2 guest characters for Marvel Infinite.

Vader for Marvel and Dio Brando for Capcom.

I’m still not sure what to think of this…

After the licensing bullshit they went through with 3, I don’t see guest characters happening.

I actually like it. Although i don’t get why Dio Brando… Darth Vader has had a lot of comics made by Marvel just so you know.

I can think of some ways to implement Vision’s moveset without making him broken. His phasing ability is his only problematic attribute, so he just needs to be designed around that.

If he has a special move that allows him to phase, the rest of his kit can be short range with low mobility/speed so he has to work to get in. His laser can be tied to his supers so that his long range options cost meter. His phase should also have a small window of recovery so that he can’t just phase everything for free (but not so much that he can’t phase anything without getting punished). Allow him to move during the phase to compensate and there you have it.

I’m sure Capcom’s already come up with something like this or better by now though, since not including Vision in this game would be a big disappointment considering how relevent he’s become in both the comics and the MCU.
